I really like that the judges do not know who cooked what. Seems a bit more fair.
Though towards the end of the season, they can probably recognized cooking styles to some extent.
They only do that on immunity pin chsllrnge and grand finale
I love these fancy dishes but tbh they would never fill my stomach.

Like one judge put half of all goats cheese on one bite and complain of too much goats cheese?
the guy said he want a lot of goat cheese tho 1:05 and its a show off course they will invent somethings to make it more suspenseful
his point of view is of a customer who received that plate for dinner since each dish is normally for a single person. If that dish is served to you, you would find the amount of goat cheese overwhelming
To be fair , before they portion it to taste the plate already had a lot of goat cheese . So anyway he did put a lot of goat cheese .
@@Miko0219 but the ratio would be all wrong, because a customer wouldn’t eat a small morsel of other food and all the goats cheese unless they liked it.
@@minecraft8587 I believe that if you were given a dish that the ratio of food is made in relation to each other so that you are eating everything on the plate because why would you order something and are forced to throw food away since there is too much excess of one specific ingredient whether you enjoy that specific ingredient or just eating it solely for the meal

Texture and consistency is important tho. It really detracts from the experience if you're served a dish that feels gross in your mouth

Dishes usually have small portions because at fine restaurants, there's multiple courses. So I assume by the end of it, you'll be full lol

I actually like how macabre hannah's dish looks although I would have liked it more had they been integrated together instead or looking like 3 separate piles
I liked the judges reactions "a bit scary" LOL. though her carrots did tend to look like witches fingers.... ;-)

I wish they would would add 5 minutes and make the contestants make 3 dishes that are the same. It’s really sad to see when they split apart a small pretty dish among 3 full grown men.
Ernest C well it’s not like it’s actually supposed to be a filling meal for them it’s just supposed to be for tasting really plus I doubt they’d wanna have that many full meals in one day
Jasmine Saiz It tests something crucial though: Consistency. If you can make an amazing dish once, good for you, but in a restaurant you have to make each 100 times a day. It’s a negligible problem that the chefs will have 2 full courses if it means they will test something crucial and I don’t have to see 3 men share 3 small cubes of steak as the main.
Masterchef Australia is the best show. Inventive challenges, Marco White is an excellent teacher, coach, offers encouragement. The judges rarely rant, never lose their temper. Even the contestants that fail learn much about food and themselves.
Food always amazes me. Seeing new techniques and Ingredients, comparing different styles and its never the same. As long it looks appetizing, is healty and it has flavors... nothing wrong with it. I like your idea keep going.👍👌
You watch a whole video, and you expect to see the final results. You don't get that here, and you feel cheated. Where's my savory mushroom sauce?!
Anna's dish honestly looks...pretty awful. The goats cheese coating the floppy purple carrots makes them look like slimy tentacles, and they're too big and clunky next to the blocks of beef. The mushroom truffle puree is also just kind of slopped randomly on the plate.

But in this master chef they ruin everything and they eat like a hungry gorilla
Well they want to taste all the elements of the dish evenly and as a whole. Whereas, on other masterchefs, sometimes the judges only eat few elements and comment on that only.

I never tased truffles but I dont see why it should be considered some high end food. Maybe I am wrong but I think they are considered that only because theres a very limited ammount and they are quite rare. But tastewise? I dont know...

Did she not have cream or did she just choose not to use it? A creamy mushroom sauce would've mad ethe whole dish work together a little better, or even just using a bit of melted butter to add some salt and smoothness.
@Layton T. Montgomery Cream and salt would bring out the flavor more and the judges were talking a lot about the texture and how they found it unpleasant. Even if he taste wasn't there, good texture is also better than a grainy mess. 1/2 is better than 0/2, you know?
