@@devinwilson7166 I think that Mika and Barbatos weren't fated to survive that conflict. A Gundam named after a demon part of the 72 Keys of Solomon has just one fate: to be destroyed. And it's pilot sadly will meet the same fate.

Ok I agree that barbatos is buried under the sands of Mars, but, it's not half buried, its fully buried as you see from the end, atra and kudelia or the princess have grown larger and a bit more older, with due akatsuki, few given years after that, the barbatos was fully buried. The only remains of barbatos still visible on Mars is barbatos lupus rex's mace.

On the PV, the Demon Sigil on the Start-up menu was identified as ASW-G-35 Gundam Marchosias, plus the color of its menu is different than its green, its instead purple. They just gave it a different name just like they did with Kimaris and Flauros.
I'm willing to bet that this takes place before the events of Season 2.
The plot takes place in between S1 and S2 of IBO

it also got a different interface. if you compare Barbatos' AV interface, Marchosias' interface is probably what a non Alaya Vijnana cockpit would look like. (well, they stated that Barbatos' original cockpit is missing and had to be retrofitted a new one)
Technically the plot of the app happens at the same time as S1 since both stories happened at 323 PD
Good theory, but there are some facts that can debunked this.
1. The Gundam's codename is different
2. The new game's story happened at a same time the anime's plot took off

For future reference, the Gundam Frames are numbered based on the 72 Demons in the Ars Goetia. Bael is #1, Barbatos is #8, and Marchosias (Hajiroboshi) is #35. If there is any future question as to which gundam frame is which, simply look at the number associated with the frame.
I feel like it couldn’t be mikazukis kid because he looks quite a bit different. Atara seemed pretty keen on raising a kid so I doubt she would send him to Venus. I feel what’s more likely is that a company or group got the spoils after the tekkadan gyallerhorn war and they tried to rebuild the barbatos

One thing that you aren't taking into consideration is that the whole Tekkadan thing was absolutely huge. They had just teamed up with the Turbines, and people in the Dort colonies have already heard of them not much later. Plus, given the shape Barbatos was in after Ep 50, I highly doubt that 1) it is repairable by anything below Gjallarhorn/maybe Teiwaz (who Tekkadan wasn't associated with anymore) engineers and b) Gjallarhorn most likely took in all the remains of Barbatos and Gusion, to prevent anyone from using them again. Another thing: Rustal Elion is very much aware that Mars is pretty much run by Tekkadan members in the epilogue, but since they pose no threat and seemingly do their job well, doesn't take action against them, which he easily could. Plus, Akatsuki is canonically raised on Mars, with the post-Hashmal photo around and all three of the bracelets on his arm, so he most definitely knew of Tekkadan - especially since he is raosed by Kudelia and Atra (who are married btw, has been confirmed in an interview).
However, all of this is insignificant compared to the single biggest, blink-and-you-miss-it piece of evidence: The startup screen of Hajiroboshi, seen briefly in the trailer. Some folks on the internet (Reddit, probably, but I don't know for sure) went ahead and compared the emblem to the sigils of all 72 Demons of Goetia - the one with the closest match was Marchosias, making this Gundam ASW-G-35.EDIT: I went ahead and compared all the demon sigils to the one seen on the startup myself, and it is most definitely Marchosias. Not only is it the only sigil with a large cross-section in the middle, you can even see the letters "M [covered by hand] I A S in the scene

Sorry to ruin your theory... PD 323 is Season 1. Season 2 is PD 325. Also they referenced the Arbrau stuff in the site’s Synopsis, not the renowned McGillis Fareed Incident which happened in season 2. Sure it’s past tense, but what they refer in past tense is Season 1 events. It’s probably set as the same time as Gekko. Or a bit later but before Season 2. At this point Barbatos is in repairs in Teiwaz anyway, before reaching Lupus form, so if anything we’ll probably see Wistario meeting Mikazuki in pre-Lupus Barbatos, a 7th or 8th form, if you will.
The side story takes place at the exact same time as IBO. It takes place between the first two seasons.

Jetfire48 Not a bad idea, actually. Yeah, the Full Armor Unicorn Gundam only had a new Psycho-Frame color and a couple new shields and a cool backpack. Other than that, it’s a carbon copy. I guess you could remove it.

We know Hajiroboshi is the current name of Gundam Marchosias because we see Marchosias sigil on the Gundam's activation and the HG Marchosias is clearly a beefed-up Hajiroboshi (similar to Kimaris before becoming Kimaris Vidar). Hajiroboshi's Gundam frame was discovered in a colony above Venus while Barnatos was on Mars. Also I'm pretty sure the timeline doesnt match up either.

Yes, it is. Mecha has no idea what his talking about. Its also been confirmed that its NOT mikazuki's son. In fact, I'm pretty sure Mecha has never even seen the ending to IBO because what he says makes no sense.
Side note here to add to the conversation, Vidar is actually named for a Norse God who was known to be one of the only gods to surive Ragnarok which is the end of all existence in Norse Mythology.

I actually had a theory that mikazuki didnt die but was unconscious when he has was defeated. Then Gallarjorn took the barbatos with mika's unconscious body with them back with them where they discovered he was actually alive. They would then make him another vidar character piloting a vidar barbatos. I got this idea when ibo season 3 was going around.

@Mecha Gaikotsu I don't know if you noticed while making the video or later on while editing the video, but the MG sinanju stein seems to have water slide decals for the sleeve markings, so at least there's that as an alternative to stickers?
To add my 2 cents into the mix, I think you're reading too much into the grammar. There's a huge distance between Venus and Mars even in IBO universe, so pretty much everything can be used with "heard (past tense) of/about" even with QCCS.
Plus, the way you mentioned "...atra and mikazuki might not want to keep the child..." gives me the impression that you didnt know that Atra and Kudelia is married to each other at the end of IBO season 2. Given that Rustal Elion is seeking peace across the system and Kudelia is the mars representative, I dont think that Rustal will do anything that would disturb the balance nor Kudelia/Atra abandoning Akazuki to another planet (unless they died). (PS: Or at least I think the writers issnt crazy enough to break an otherwise pretty decent ending)
For future reference, a way to scrub through trailers or teasers without having to click or pause in just the right spot is to press the comma and period keys to move backwards and forwards frame by frame, respectively. Learning this trick was a lifesaver for me trying to find drawing references.

Just a note, the cross silhouette kits do come with the standard SD frame, the CS frame that makes them a lil taller, and adds knee articulation is what's sold separately.

The Ex-S Gundam is some what a blank canvas for paint options cause if you pose it in fighter form, the paint patterns that you paint on it are worth looking at (depending on the paint pattern then that’s a different subject)
so its set on venus colony but barbatos was destroyed on mars and left there from what it seems, the start up screen says marchosias, its its clearly not barbatos. the kids hair is clearly too light and not the same style, and at the end of IBO, atra is taking care of akatsuki with kudelia so he has mom and financial support on mars, aside from the timeline, i can say its not barbatos at all, the sources are still terrible but you're theory is wrong

If you noticed, some people or i dont know who, someone noticed there's a symbol of Marcosias insignia in the hajiroboshi screen when that boy touch it
well if you think about it, in Gundam IBO, they have to reference the 72 Gundam frames in some form or fashion because the frames are named after the 72 demon generals of legend, with barbaratos being the strongest
Barbatos is Gundam Frame 8. Urdr-Hunt uses Gundam Frame 35. Remember that Post Calamity War all Mobile Suits th as t have been 'lost' are considered salvage. Gjallarhorn hunts them down by any means as their 72 houses are tied to the original pilots of the Gundams.
They change names occasionally. It ties with a Registration name or OS name to identify a unit. Hajiroboshi is a name akin to Barbatos Lupus or Gusion Rebake Full City. Flauros is a great example with Ryusei-Go.

I just watched IBO on Netflix and Hajiroboshi was in it although I can't remember which episode, anyone remember what episode it was in? It was only for a split second during the uprising.

It's been confirmed that the Urdr Hunt takes place in-between Iron-Blooded Orphans seasons.
For now on, when you review a kit and go over it's articulation, you need to call the skirt armor an 'iron diaper'

As for the silver bullet it’s kind of hard to say because it’s basically a federation version of the Doven wolf from ZZ Gundam. Also there are versions with a Jegan face or a Gundam face

Those front, side, and back skirts are there to protect the joints of the mech or robot.

@MechaGaikotsu I believe you are possibly mistaken about the Gundam being Barbatos from the App game. If you pause during the trailer you can see the sigil of the Gundam, just as you did when Barbatos starts up, as well as other Gundams from IBO. The Gundam's sigil reads "Marchosias", this is one of the 72 demons for which the Gundams in IBO are named after.
First time I saw the hajiboroshi i instantly thought "oh look a barbatos variant"
SD Kits are PERFECT fodder for painting practice. So I'm definitely getting the new Zeromaru kit.

where do you send off your HGs?
The EX-S is more traditional Model Kit than toy. It looks really awesome but don’t expect that you can pose it often or utilize its transformation gimmick often either. My advice is that you pick a mode and stick to it. I’m picking up this new EX-S because, as you didn’t mention, it has a few of the upgrades found on the EX-S Deep Striker such as the sliding shoulders. That’s the one that I plan on keeping in Mobile Suit mode while the one I currently will be in G-Defenser mode.
Guys this happens at the same time as IBO, just a different place regarding the Urus Hunt.
Also the HG Maganac is awesome, I really hope we get more Grunt suits from Wing, like the Pisces and Cancer
