I have just discovered you a couple of videos ago and your Michael Jackson tribute got me tears. It decided me to go back to flute again with jazz after a complicated relationship with music so you’ve got a new fan ! Flute is not that mainstream and jazz flute as a main player not so much either.
Nice to see that you are keeping at it, Althea Rene. You still have the gold flute that I've seen in past videos and use a silver for outdoor gigs? Ever consider one of those GUO flutes? Cats tell me that they are pretty much indestructible and sound decent. You could use it as a bat when someone throws a bottle at the stage but then go right back to playing like nothing ever happened. 😂

Not Jazz but instrumental R&B. Many do not know the difference. I have seen people come to jazz shows and leave when they realize not what they thought it was.
