- I got out and did a quick overnight solo without the wife and kids. there was a lot more snow than I expected to see, which made for wet cold feet. None the less it's nice to enjoy a quiet night sometimes.

Yeah it’s funny I had a clip on this. And I ended up not using it. Camping and overlanding has taken a different course since we started this channel. But I do still try to put getting outside and the adventure 1st, and filming and such 2nd

Ehh, wasn’t like that. Always good to learn how to function on your own without a phone or device. I started doing this to show being unplugged and alone and the landscapes remember? Haha but I also get what your were seeing, wasn’t the objective haha

Seriously… this is a good idea. I keep beenies and gloves in the truck for everyone. Pretty easy to add dry socks to that!!
I didn’t put it in the video, but I ended up in the tent for a while with the heater on drying out watching a movie. Haha not the next TH-cam content

So haha, you saw 2… the first one I didn’t think the rain showed, so I messed with the zoom. Then getting it here on the computer. It did show! And after I messed with it, it didn’t look as good. Haha. So I tried to slow it down that’s why the rain looks funny
My wife and I have made a couple trips up there to watch the sunset and enjoy a couple beers. So peaceful and relaxing watch the sun set over the coastal range. Got my spots all marked on my maps :)

I had a clip I didn’t use, talking about this. “I like this in the moment the time away is always needed… but it’s always there on Monday waiting for me” it was a bit glass is 1/2 empty so I didn’t use it 😂

Even with the snow and rain, it was also nice to test the new lights and mess with the heater. Always about that real world testing. If it’s a fail, it’s just me and I’ll be ok. Vs being with the family and hearing everyone complain haha
@@ChambersFamilyOverland Oh so true! But also with the amount of work that you have been putting in lately it is good to see you get out there. And I'm hoping once things calm down that we will get a chance to make a trip away from the valley and everything lol. This summer it will definitely be awesome to hit that one lake and take the canoe with us

Dude, I feel you 100% it's awesome to do this as a family, and I would never trade it. However heading out solo to re center yourself is awesome too from time to time.

Yeah but I use my garage. So it’s setting up the table, and lighting, and rough draft a video to run on a laptop so we and talk on it, cameras and mics, then once we get it all… edit that up, and then splice it in and clean it all up. It’s basically filming and editing 2 videos into 1. Or 3 if I’m using 2 cameras!
Then I get to break it all down and clean it all up and put it away haha…
I think we will do it here and there but not every video. Especially with work going the way it has been and house projects. And now Nolan starting his own channel 😂😂😂
