Rochers de Naye, Switzerland 🚞 // Hiking in the Clouds!

My friend Kinkini and I had an absolutely incredible time visiting Rochers de Naye at the end of June, 2021! It felt so magical to be literally inside the clouds :) The alpine garden especially was so, so beautiful and we will definitely go back in the future! ❤︎ Holly
Trip Details (day trip from Geneva!):
- Took train from Geneva to Montreux (~1 hour)
- Hiked from Montreux to Haut-de-Caux (~2.5 hours)
- Took train from Haut-de-Caux to Rochers de Naye (~20 minutes)
- Explored the top (beautiful panoramic views, picnic spots; there is a bathroom and restaurant as well)
- Observed the groundhogs! (right beside the building where the train stops)
- Went to the alpine garden (free entry!)
- Took the train from Rochers de Naye back to Montreux (last train leaves at ~6pm - we took the second last train just to be safe)
- Had a smoothie/coffee in Montreux by the lake (the lake is just a few minutes from the train station)
- Went to Saint-Saphorin (a beautiful village) on the way back to Geneva (we had a day pass so we wanted to take advantage of it!)
