- Hey party people! Thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share with you this new around the house happenings! in this video I had some decluttering to do. I had so many toys to get rid of that have just been lingering around. First I tackled my living room table full of random goodies. I made some lunch which was weird... lol but good - then I cleaned my house a bit! Finishing up my decluttering upstairs with more toys and ... more toys. haha so many toys I guess this is more of a toy declutter and just random stuff that is lingering around that we don't use! Hope this gives you some motivation to get something done around your house or declutter a bit of stuff that is around that you don't need either. Or keep it - it's fine. Maybe you'll need it in the future ;-) lol

I agree with Eleanor that frosting is sweeter than ice cream. I’d prefer ice cream be used between cookies to make the sandwich.
I had a rule in our house. If you get something out to play with, you put it away before getting out the next thing. I said I would throw out the toys if not put back where they belong. Some ended up in the trash. Big learning curve. I wasn't mean, just trying to teach respect for their things.
The reason why I love, It's a Wonderful Life, is it give you hope and renewal, for me at least. I have been watching it for decades. No Christmas season could go by without watching it. Now I own it on DVD.
As long as our kitchen and bathrooms were in decent shape, thats the best we could do when our kids were little. Your home always looks ready for company. And Wolfgang is so precious.
We have sensory tables at pre school were I work.We have sand,colored rice,water,and snow when we have some.The kids love it.
When my son was 5 we went to Canada to visit a friend who was a zookeeper at the Toronto Zoo. We got a behind the scenes look at all the animals. My son was most impressed with the seagulls in the parking lot and the wild bunny in the Rhino enclosure, He also prefered the box the toys came in ,than the toy. I totally agree kids don't need a million toys. They are easy to please! I've never had mayo on a monte crisco. It is usually jam or mapple syrup.

I have three children….but gosh there is nothing sweeter then seeing some one else’s baby sleeping. That little face. He’s a doll. ❤
When we were little, grandma had a huge sand box...that's what I'm putting back this year..sqyare wooden box...with the seats in the corner, just like hers...and a digger...excavater..thingy we had, we loved it

I had a 4 ft pile of dirt next to the house and we kids where entertained for hours 😊
Both of my sister's children hate cooked veggies. They were having fights to get them to eat at dinners. They now put out a veggie plate with dip at supper and it is eaten with no complaints.
I normally don’t listen to people chat for a long time but I really like listening to you. It’s like hanging out with your girlfriends so thank you for sharing and being Real! can’t wait to see more! We love our water water and dirtpit is just as good as sand. Miss the good ol days b4 the internet .
The birds jump up and down on the ground, to make worms and insects think it's raining, and come up to the surface for them to catch!

I love It's a Wonderful Life!! I like the message of the movie. Your life can impact so many others in ways that you don't even know. And you have the power to make positive change for people. It's my favorite movie.♥️
I like the message but dislike the face that he was miserable basically his whole life! Like he wasn’t doing what he wanted- sure, that’s life - sacrifice but he didn’t embrace it and enjoy it he was miserable!! Lol I mean the end was nice but geeeesh
@@thewadsquad I can see your point to that. He wasn't really content and it took an angel to remind him that he did in fact have a wonderful life.
So many people have lives like that, people just relate to the plot of the movie.
It's reality for many...some never know hardships.
We like giving adventure activities as gifts! All 4 of our kids are minimalists. Their kids like toys, lots n lots of toys!
A nurse once told me " when you have children, if your house is spotless, you're not giving your children enough attention ".
That or you have too much stuff in your house to maintain.

I love It's a Wonderful Life!! I love the message that even if you don't see it, and even if your life feels small and insignificant, your life positively impacts the life of so many others. There is no one who can do exactly what you do, and your life is worth living, for yourself and all the lives you touch daily. We can agree to disagree, but I think it's one of the best movies ever! 😄
My daughter liked using my tub bc it had jets, & my stand alone shower, & I'd often have 4-5 Barbies at my feet whenever I took a shower, & Littlest Pets all over the drain. In my bathtub there were beanie babies (w/o the tags) that, surprisingly, dried quickly & could be washed. Meanwhile, her bathtub was pristine, while mine was a tiny play area, but I knew it was temporary, & she was having fun:) I miss those days so much now, & my energy!

I love that you speak out loud about how you process things, because as a mom it gets soooo overwhelming! How you said in the bathroom you have more to say, but you’re not going to and you’re just gonna clean it. I need to hop on that same train of thought because it’s easy to feel defeated. You’re an everyday inspiration to me, Kim. You make the mom thing look so effortless.

Kim I agree with you on why people like “It’s a wonderful life”. It’s so depresssing. My parents say yes but he overcomes things and it’s a happy ending because he’s thankful for what he has.

I do that too! I play it as soon as I see it post and then play again the next morning while I'm on the treadmill or later in the day when I'm folding laundry or something! Double Kim, double fun!
Every time you cut up vegetables, I have to cut up all the veggies in my fridge. There is something special about a veggie tray!!
THANK YOU for the declutter inspiration! I have to agree with the minimal toy thing. At first my oldest didn’t have much because we didn’t. As we became more established we bought and received more and more. You know, get them everything we always wanted and didn’t have. We noticed the kids didn’t play with the toys as much as their collection grew. So I began to box things up. They were all fired up finding toys they forgot all about and thought I had tossed. I found that 2 totes (18 gallon) was about all my boys could handle. I say 2 because some toys are just bulky. My oldest loves art so there was a dedicated art box but the same applied to that. Keep it simple. But any more than that and not only is it hard to find what they want to play with but hard to tidy up and they don’t even want to take stuff out because of the cleanup after. Now my oldest is out of the house and my youngest has his collectibles and some select toys he likes to keep around. But his things still are about 2 totes full. I also noticed their creativity was boosted- not as much complaining of boredom when we pared it all down. Strange but true.
That adorable owl book brought me back. Both of my boys loved that book. They are now 8 and 4.

My mom worked for Publix bakery for thirty years and there is no raisin paste in there cookies. They come in frozen dough pieces from Lakeland and when they made them from scratch mix it was just regular sugar cookie recipe and regular chocolate chip cookie recipe. My mom started back in the early 80’s when everything was made from scratch. The only thing made from scratch is the bread. She has been retired from publix for going on 8 years. With the toy minimum thing. I found when my kids were toddler age having just one small basket of their toys worked well and every week I would switch the ones they didn’t play with much that week for the toys I had put up in a closet.
That strange sandwich looks like a mix between pain perdu and panini. Would you believe my 2 boys had more than a 1000 little cars toys and Lego pieces. Bonne journée Kim

As a grandmother, I use vanilla extract on my babies gums. Never k new this when I was raising my girls. It works great.

Gosh, the Monster High dolls made my heart hurt, I am an adult who collects them, lol. Those zipper bags you used for the board games, when you first showed them a while ago, I bought a bunch on amazon but I use them for my cross stitch projects. I had been paper clipping my fabric to the patterns (I dye my own fabrics so I had alot), & it was getting so jumbled up. Those bags were a life saver & I am glad you showed them.
When I raised my kids in the 90's & 00's, I WISH I had known about tray bakes! I saw you doing so many where you just put it all together on a sheet & toss it in the oven. That would have made my life so much easier back then. I have been doing it quite a bit now, even though it is just our youngest & us here. I just made one tonight (kielbasa, mini colored potatoes, green beans & broccoli). Broccoli lightly crisped in the oven is so good! I am so glad I came across your videos a couple years ago with the tiny hands, lol. The first video I saw you was showing a grocery haul video with those tiny hands & it cracked me up, I hit the subscribe button & never looked back lol.

When our kids were little, my husband left a 15 foot square patch of dirt. The boys had more fun over the years. We unearthed matchbox cars and trucks, years later. Well worth the time. The only rule was straight to the shower when you were through playing. They used to take the hose and squirt each other off too. Good times!!,

That was a lot! My Uncle's favorite sandwich was a Monte Cristo. They're hard to find. Seeing all the little pieces and parts in the table drawers took me right back to when my kids were little....oh man. I hate getting things in my eyes. Last year I had something bugging me for several days. Went to a doctor who saw something and pulled it out. Still bugged me the next day so went to my eye doctor, who put on surgical gear, told me all that doctor did was pull out an eyelash. He got whatever was in there out but told me it looked like false eyelash glue....never used false eyelashes in my life. Oh well it's all good.

We do the same with a mound of sand for the kids. Every year we get a truck load and pile it up next to their swing set. They LOVE it 🎉
If you use the bags, put them in a container like you would a file cabinet. All in one spot, easier to sift through.

When I was a kid my mom did the gramcracker with frosting like your 🍪 cookie with frosting. Yum! And stored in the fridge. Your kids are super cute!🥰
