I hate saying this but I have so many guns ammo and mags that I literally have no more room in my house I’m cutting myself off lol and I have 3 safes and the ammo can from liberty lol
Bought a safe just like this from tractor supply in 2019 only opened it a couple times a month when I opened it last week the shaft going to turn not broke inside of the shape immediately contacted can and safe company show them pictures the receipt of what happened had to be very poor workmanship took forever to get them to even escalate this up to where a solution could be obtained just got an email from them now they say it will take 15 to 20 days to get a locksmith to fix it very poor service will never own another Cannon product very poor workmanship thank you for your time
“ so this is a gun safe review…. I guess , uhhh you can put a rifle in there … I guess , uhhhh I don’t know , it has these pouches …. I guess , I don’t know “
You can probably use those loops under the 2 big pouches for anything that mounts will Molle attachments. Magazine holsters, pistol holsters, med kit, ect ect ect..
The best way to position the door would be that the hinge be not against the wall. because if someone were to try and break in they would be prying on the left side of the door. because honestly the bolts on these safes aren't that substantial. I have the same safe only the"80" gun. like you say no way that many will fit. but all the testing videos I have seen show them prying on the side without the hinges. and if that side is against the wall they would have a much harder time getting into the safe. since I didn't buy a safe that has like 1/4 inch steel plate for the door I need to make it as hard as possible to break in. Just thought I would share my thoughts on that issue. So far I like my safe and am pretty happy. I hope you are as well.
The little straps can be used for small tools, without the shelving u can most likely fit the capacity of long guns that this safe is rated for, the description of the safe doesn't say 64 guns plus all your other shit.
Anyone who referred to rifles as Assault style is the reason that the Democrats are winning with the gun bans please learn the correct terminology before making a video
If you look at the highest shelt you will see cutouts. You put your extra long rifles in the middle slots of the rack and the barrels go through those cutouts. I have all of my Mosin and Mausers (6) in there and they fit fine. If the rifle is too short, get a thin wooden dowel at the hardware store and stick it in the barrel up to the rack notches. Problem solved.
Brother you should not be doing reviews. You do not know that safe at all. The spot on the door is for a “ready” Gun such as an AR or something. Those “stretchy” things are for magazines. And yes you can fit 64 in there. The other half of the safe where you have all your ammo is made for another 32 rifles
There are no way those "stretchy things" are for mags. They do not stretch . It is hard nylon. No modern mag fits. Not even a cheap 22 mag. Yes old wartime clips would fit but slip out. This is a terrible waste of space
The other side can have as many long guns as the one that you have the long guns in. So your count on guns is way off. And no safe can hold as many as they say. But yours could hold double the long guns you said. Personally, you would be better off to not waste space with ammo in a gun safe. Just get an ammo locker. It's safer. In a safe if it got enough heat to go off it would be like a bomb because of being compressed. I can imagine how those rifles would look then.
A few things: The "straps" are molle webbing There's no such thing as an assault rifle, it's called a modern sporting rifle. And lastly you need to step your game up
I guess Cannon did a good job of explaining what all the pushes are designed to hold. Seems like its the game of what the heck fits in this pouch or slot????
I'm really considering buying one of these safes, But i'm curious about the keypad. When i go to tractor supply and mess around with the safes, i notice that i can grab the keypad and lift up on it and it detaches very easily. Behind that keypad is two wires.. Since the keypad uses a 9v battery and once the correct combo is typed, it then allows power to go to the locking mech and allows the door to be unlocked. .. I'm wondering if someone were to remove the keypad and cut the wire on the back, Couldn't they just touch a 9v battery to the two wires and unlock the safe? Basically bypassing the keypad. I'm hoping that they have these safes fixed to where this can't happen, But i'm really curious about this before purchasing one.
maybe mine is different, but my keypad is pretty sturdy and doesnt seem like itd be removed easily. not really sure about bypassing the keypad though. i do know though that the lip seal and the steel around the door are pretty thin and you can crowbar them pretty easy if you get it on its side. Overall i guess its better than nothing but i will agree i think a determined and equipped robber would probably get into this think if they wanted to. Better than just leaving all of your stuff out in the open unprotected of course though.
@@huntingolemossyhornes2997 my husband is currently having this same problem as we speak. Its got his locked out. This has happened several of times. He replaced the batteries but it feels like its the bolted locks is getting stuck. So he is freaking out atm. Looking on yt to try and maybe help some. I wont ever buy a Cannon again! :(
I got this exact safe, I have to replace the 9volt battery on the electronic lock every 2 weeks because the lock drains it. I’ll never buy an electronic lock again.
I have had this safe for 5 years, good battery should last 3-4 years as it has for me. Call Cannon and get lock replaced, but you prob have a pinched wire draining the battery into the safe body..
Good luck with that. I called Cannon today and tried to order this safe in mechanical. They only do electronic now. Like CMDR said, you've got another problem. 2 weeks isn't normal. I've got an ammo locker with electronic and it's been at least 2 years since I changed the battery last.
I've got a lot more than what is shown here. But even then probably still not much compared to most people you're right. But im a poor college kid so its to be expected.
Nah, that thing will hold more than 32 easy, just depends on how you stack em in there. If you're special and are worried bumps and scratches then maybe not but you take out those pesky little rifle divider deals and you can load quite a few in the space. Secondly, "a lot of ammo" is 10k+ rounds, I call that there a really good start. I got so much ammo now I almost need another safe just for the ammo.
60 gun safe? Not really. If safe says 60 yea figure 30. Scopes and sling and bolts on your bolt actions all take up space. Buy a safe at least twice as big as you think you need?
I would never buy a Cannon Gun Safe again, locked out of mine called customer service in China are somewhere, and tried everything possible and nothing works so call a locksmith at my cost ,so now to spend as much as Safe cost to open it , they are not concerned

Jesus. I had to stop watching due to the stupidity. The shelves on the second half gives you the 64 rifle spaces. But, safe companies also embellish a bit (very common) on capacity. Also if you look at the advertising the space on the door is for a shotgun or a bolt action/hunting rifle. Also the space on the sides is for your longer rifles (such as a mauser).
Piece of shit safe. Electronic latch crapped out twice on me and now it’s locked up and can’t open. Cannon said warranty is up and won’t give the drill points to open up to anyone but a locksmith. Locksmith will cost you the same as the safe to open. I will never buy a electronic lock.

Assault rifle is a military term for certain select fire rifles. It is a term misused by liberals and the media, but it is a real term.
Narrated by Joe Swanson/Patrick Warburton.
