Yep, never understood why people would want to only train a single way when they can reap the benefits of multiple methods, even if you have to divide your time.
If you want to of course. Reap the benefits of both the size and the cool skills. If you dont want much size, or dont care about being able to do calisthenics skills, just stick to one.
But in the end both have their pros and cons. Do whatever you can afford and what aligns with your goals. You're in control, dont let anyone tell you otherwise.
I do athletic bodybuilding (prioritizing standing free weight exercises and no machines) and a little bit of calisthenics here and there for body weight and barbell strength and flexibility for overall wellness and aesthetics
Calisthenics athletes look this way, not because of the training but because of belly sizes. The ones making calisthenics easiers are ussualy found better looking. Its purely genetic tho. You just see them like that, cuz those without thise genetics dont achieve much

Doing both would give you a lot of strength and endurance
Hybrid training is training in multiple ways. I reccomend you to go watch a video on his chanel that talk about this

What about strenght and variation?
Weighted callisthenics for upper body, weights for lower body
That's why weighted calisthenics are epic
You can train different things and different techniques for bodybuilding so it is better

They serve very different purposes. Cali is more practical in most cases though.
