Anton Gruber if you hitchhike 11,000km because you were inspired by my 5 minute long video on TH-cam then call me when you get to Vladivostok and I will send you $150 towards a flight to Vancouver Canada. Come and hang out!
Wow Tim! Thank you for this video. What a surprise find at the beginning of this New Year. Thank you for giving me a glimpse of the humanity to be found within Russia as I pray and hunger for peace there, in Ukraine, other parts of the world, in my neighborhood, my home, and my own heart.
This video is incridible, it made seriously rethink how I'm living my life. At the end of it I just thought "why the hell am I spending almost all of my free time locked in my apartment?". I have never done Hitchhiking (probably too obssed with the "what if's"), but this video really makes me want to start an adventure.
Pedro, what is the adventure that you want to start? What are the obstacles between you and starting? The cool thing about a bucket list is that it's your list and anything you want can go on there. You can simplify things and think about the idea of a daily adventure. What is one simple adventure you could do today that would be preparing you for a grand adventure?
Да , Россия самоя большая страна в мире, она очень красивая. Люди жущие в России да и за границей добрые, отзывчивые готовые прийти на помощь, отдать последнее. На 100% согласен с видео. Спасибо автору.
@@TimJMcLeod Thank you you showed Russia as it is and the people living in it. Russian expanses are endless and you have not seen much. So-that come still
Я сделал это видео в надежде поделиться им с русскими людьми. Пожалуйста, помогите мне поделиться им на российских сайтах, в группах или социальных сетях.
Hey, how long did you stay in Russia and what visa did you pick? By the way: You just inspired me to fulfill my dream of hitchhiking from my hometown (Germany) to Vladivostok :P
I really enjoyed this video! Needs more views :) I want to go to Russia next year and experience something like this. Maybe take the Siberian express and stop off in some bigger places on the way.
The Siberian train would be rad. You just need to ask yourself if sitting on a train looking at a giant forest is what you want to do while you're there. I'd recommend taking the train around the golden ring, then check out Moscow or St. Petersburg.
It's interesting to know a lot of facts about your own country from the foreigners. I'm glad that you like Russia, cause I know that the US sucks even in case that I haven't been there.
Thanks. I speak weak Russian, I took 'q' cards with around 30 phrases to help me to get to my location. I managed to get out of a tricky situation with some young, hotshot Russian cops. Very few Russians speak English. I have spent over 3 months in Russia.
Most of the footage from this video was from a trip last summer. I went from Moscow to Penza and then spent time with friends traveling to a village. A couple of the shots were from 2016 where we hitch hiked from Crimea to Penza.

It must have been hard for you among the old subcompacts , cold and poverty .

Glad you enjoyed the video. Russia gets a lot of bad newspaper press in North America, so I wanted to make a hopeful video.

How did you get a visa??
Through a website. Search the web for ______ (insert your country) plus the words 'visa to Russia'.
Can't you just write how HH actually is? Jesus
