In this video I'm snowboarding on the peak of Whistler mountain and searching for the best powder in the storm. I'm riding the Bataleon Surfer powder snowboard and looking for a good powder line to test it out. The peak of Whistler is one of the best places to snowboard because of the variety of terrain and from big alpine to tree runs.

Curious how you would compare the Bataleon to a Korua Dart or maybe the pencil? I feel like Korua has boards that ride so nicely in POW while also carving up groomers. Does that in a way make a pure POW board similar to the Bataleon obsolete?
Hey did you ever solve this? I was a bit stuck too, but deciding to go with the surfer for the better tail when switch and nimbleness going on tree runs. The Dart from what I read seems to not be that fun in trees espc when switch. Dart is still a beautiful board, debating on picking up one in split if I don't continue skiing

Why not gp9 with max Lens mod on the helmet for no sea sickness footage and the max at the stick for selfie stick free footage? That's the way I will use this combo. Appreciate your thoughts about this decision making... Is it because you want higher video quality content?
I think with the GoPro 9 on the helmet the lens still isn’t wide enough to get my board and the view in frame. Im 6’3” so it’s harder for me to get it all in the shot. The Max gives me total control have how wide to go in editing . Thanks for the question!

should get yourself the gopro max so it stiches the stick out of the shot.
Prob with 360 Cameras is that they always distort the image just enough to take away from depth of field ... making it tough to see steeps as well as you can with a revaluation GoPro or similar action camera. The disappearing selfie stick is definitely cool but the fisheye kind of kills the footage. I’m sure Kevin has tried 360 Cameras.
I see no point to just side slipping down the cornice...unless that’s the only way to get to that specific run...just seems kinda pointless
