  • Here's a full ride POV of Whistler-Blackcomb's famous Peak to Creek run. This trail starts at the summit of Whistler Mountain, at the top of Peak Express, and runs all the way down to the Creekside base, next to Creekside Gondola. The run is almost 7 miles long, and runs Whistler Mountain's entire vertical drop, a jaw-dropping 5,020 feet. The run can typically take 15-30 minutes to do with stops, but I did it in under 10 without stopping. My legs were very on fire by the end, being one of the most enduring runs I have ever done in my life. If you ever get the chance to do it, you should take it.

Beautiful video. It's so cool how it goes from no trees to taller and taller trees at the bottom!

One Of My Favorite At Whistler….Just Did It In March This Year….For Some reason had a lot of Moguls this time, maybe because they got some snow that week.

Where did all the Snoqualmie videos go? Have you forgotten about the new Hidden Valley lift?

Considering I don't live in Seattle anymore, it's a little more difficult to get there now. As for Hidden Valley, maybe I can get my family to film it if they come up on a weekend.

Quite a knee and leg burner, and by the icy sound of the surface the place could do with a fresh big dump.

Whistler-Blackcomb gets so many skiers on the weekend that the groomed runs become icy by the afternoon (when this was filmed). Doesn't matter if it's been a powder day. I've experienced powder days at Stevens Pass where the groomers became ice by the afternoon, and it's the same problem. This video too, it snowed some the night before, but still. Unless it snows after the runs are groomed, the ice can't be avoided.

Cool video....If you are willing to go this fast then learn to carve turns and your legs wont get tired!

Even if you were to carve, it would be impossible for anyone to make it down this run without stopping and without tired legs. Remember, this run is almost four miles long, with 5,000' of vertical. Unless you stop frequently, this is going to be a strenuous run for anyone, no matter your athletic abilities, and whether you carve or not.
