In this video we're snowboarding on Blackcomb mountain in Whistler. We got some new snow overnight and it's one of the coldest days this season. I'm up snowboarding with Chris today and we're doing a hike to a powder area. If we time this hike right we'll be snowboarding down the mountain right before the sun sets. @@derrickgrigg Dope man, i'm out of Winnipeg and the closest i got is Assesippi, was surprised to hear there was one right near Toronto. So don't feel too bad Matti, living on the prairies is a struggle when you want to snowboard, but hey you can always grab a snowkate and hit the local areas in your town.

You are so lucky, I live through these videos. Live in the UK South so I rarely see snow where I live but in Scotland, up North sure. Hopefully next year, I will be in Scotland but in the mean time, I have a indoor centre near me so will be going there.
I have the same backpack as Chris, It's sooooo nice! can fit a shovel on the inside, as well as has a soft pouch for goggles.

It’s a tee bar it has a rope that comes down and you sit on it while riding

How do i strengthen my foot arch. My boots fit perfectly but i get arch pain after like half a run with it being unbareable at the end. Im pretty sure i got flat feet and need to train my arch what do?
There are couple different types of inserts that you can put in your boot that really help with that. I haven’t tried any with my ski or snowboard boots but when I play hockey my flat feet would die without them.

Hey was that initial hike up Showcase Tbar, or Horseman? And then when you initially dropped, are you wrapping around Blackcomb Peak until you have to take off your board in the rock field? And what tree run did you guys take to get you back onto the cat track under the Peak to Peak? It looks so much fun when you snowboard, so i bought one. today was my first day riding and altough i watched every beginner video i only crashed, after 3H on the kids kill i went on the actual hill and it was so fucking steep i only went down on my heels and managed to fall like a thousand times cause i could not stop on the icy snow. didnt even turn cause i was to scared...
first days are always painful! just expect a couple more days like this and then things will change and you will never turn back :)

Definitely agree with you here. I would even remove naming where this area is as some people (in the comments above) are trying to find out where it is. I love watching these TH-cam vids but they are speaking to a ton of inexperienced folks and their actions could lead some to think that these areas are inbounds and okay to ride.
Rocky areas such as those in this video are signs of shallow snowpack sections, which can mean an increased probability of triggering weak layers and it propagating to areas further down the bowl where snowpack is thicker, resulting in large and fatal avalanches.
