Grew up eating pear salad! My wife thought it was the weirdest salad ever. She has grown to like it. I request it all the time. We added a cherry to the top to make it fancy.

We have also been looking at those little fire pits. Pretty cool. With all the fires we get up here in Oregon, open fires at campgrounds are going away.
The outdoor theater is the most popular thing we started when we camp. We get all the kids at our campsite for movie night

For your STANLEY 2 Cup Cookset: put a small piece of Aluminum Foil and put it OVER THE POT'S TOP but UNDERNEATH THE METAL LID. That holds in the heat and the steam for a rolling boil. Pear Salads. Yep, Southern thing for sure 👍. MY family made it 2 different ways. 1) Cold or room temperature Pears like you made yours and 2) Pears put under the Broiler with Peanut 🥜 melted inside the Pears. The 2nd one was my personal favorite of the two types. Cut ✂️ your Lettuce beforehand and when ready add a spoonful of Pear Juice and then toss it once before eating it. It'll make a huge difference when the flavors come together ❤ 😋.
