    "Feed the beaver" That's what she said. And I don't care what anyone says, hamburger helper is an awesome camping meal! It's easy and it will always be super tasty.

      That was tuna helper. I honestly prefer canned tuna over canned chicken myself. Well I also prefer seasoned and seared extra rare tuna steaks over chicken as well. However with prices and availability I obviously eat more chicken.

      What hamburger helper do people prefer besides stroganoff? I've had some that were the exact opposite of super tasty.

    Hi Brian, nice video. This little AC is great. It's a lot quieter than my IcyBreeze (the cooler type AC that requires ice in it). However, it still sounds like a small window unit. It's so much lighter than having to lug around an entire cooler in and out of my triangle-shaped doors (e.g., less tripping hazard, less back injury risk due to ZERO BREEZE's lighter weight). It's less work than having to keep buying 20 lbs bags of ice every 2-4 hours. It's neater than having water splashing everywhere due to melted ice, meaning less cleaning and less worrying for my future tent adventures since I have lots of electronics while I travel and sleep on the floor. It pulls 160 watts. I have not had it go higher than that at the moment, so it meets my energy needs. I'm happy it works. I bought it myself. I am considering buying one as a gift for my brother and his wife who are way more nomadic than me. It's exactly as advertised for a small 40 square foot space, spot cooling. It cools me. It's cold air. I love the way the air smells. I'm just so happy it works!!! Looking forward to the next episode!

    I bought one in December…
    I’m in Cairns, Australia
    Night time it’s been 28deg and 70-85% humidity 🥵 .. I’ve got a jumbo ford transit it cools it well enough for a pleasant sleep…
    During the day it’s been 35deg 90% humidity I’ve just closed off the sleeping area with curtains and it keeps it pretty cool during the day… pretty stoked with it 🤙

    When we camp, we always try to do easy meals. It’s usually just bologna sandwiches for lunch and maybe something quick on the grill for supper. I ain’t mad at ya. LOL. Looking forward to your big news.

    I use a black queen sized sheet to cover the tent for storage. Im thinking about getting a white sheet to put on it to help with the heat in the sun.

    Good call on the chicken, I would have done the same. Total your liquids in OZ. (water and milk), add all the milk to the pot, deduct the milk measurement from your total liquid count then add the water to the empty milk container using that as your measuring cup.
    Can't wait for the big news.

    I think I will keep my shoes inside the tent. You don’t want to find something in there when you’re going to put them on! And they can get damp from the outside night air.
    After the sun 🌞 goes down the AC should be fine. Thumbs up 👍

  • @trevormangus7832

    You would think the a/c would work better if your intake hose was inside your tent the exhaust hose outside so it would pull in cooler air as an intake so it would reduce the temperature of the exiting air out of the cold side better that’s how a regular house window unit works. also it pulls the intake air from the house and then, the heat sent outside

    • @BrianWatersOutdoors
      @BrianWatersOutdoors  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There is another intake on the front of the unit that pulls in cool air inside too👍🏻

    1 observation Brian, I'd have my exhaust tube as far from my intake as possible my friend. Atleast 90degrees opposite. I did ac work bitd,it seems that your exhaust is too close to the intake. If u separate the tubes as much as possible, also on lower fan speeds u get cooler air !! It causes less friction. I hope this helps you get cooler ❤!! Plus , send me a hat!!! I'd definitely represent you in south florida!!!

    • @BrianWatersOutdoors
      @BrianWatersOutdoors  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, I usually try to split the tubes up more and point them in different directions so the intake isn’t sucking up the hot exhaust. Did not know about the slower fan speed👍🏻 thanks!

    I thought the intake was supposed to pull the air from inside the tent. And through the A/C... back to the tent. So it will use cooler air and make it effective.

    • @BrianWatersOutdoors
      @BrianWatersOutdoors  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, not on this. It has an intake in front to pull in cool air and an intake in the back to pull in fresh air.

  • @esiebert7625
    @esiebert7625 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    I still don’t get the design of that thing, why does it have two ducts venting to the outside. Pretty much every AC ever made pulls intake air from the inside and exhausts to the outside. AC units don’t make cool air, they remove heat from intake air. Pulling intake air from the outside is less efficient as it’s hotter than inside air and requires more heat removal than inside air would.

  • @SuziPoozi
    @SuziPoozi 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Would it help to bring the intake hose into the tent so it would be pulling the cooler air from inside the tent? It would be like using the recirculating button inside your car while the A/C is running, which is more efficient. Not sure if it would work, but worth a shot. By the way, Hamburger/Tuna Helper is total comfort food and great for camping. 🙂

    • @BrianWatersOutdoors
      @BrianWatersOutdoors  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not in this case. This thing has (2) intakes. One in the back that inducted outside to get fresh air, and there is o neon the front of this unit that pulls in the cool air from inside the tent. 👍🏻
