    ahh, just saw you have this lift kit... its easier to put in the kit from the top... take off the rack, fender.. and its all right there... way easier than the way you did it... but you got it done... so looks good.
    should of measured with the old tires so you know the real lift..

Thanks a bunch for sharing.

    • @Temptation_Offroad
      @Temptation_Offroad  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Correct, its main purpose is to make room for larger tires. Even with this 2" lift the 28's still rub when turning and especially with my snow plow on the front. I know newer model sportsman 500s can clear 28s with no lift kit, because of the different fender design. Glad the videos help out!

    • @Temptation_Offroad
      @Temptation_Offroad  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      These tires take a lot of power to turn over and are a very heavy tire. I believe the smallest size they come in is 28s. Your 2019 450 might not need a lift kit to fit these, because the newer wheelers have more fender clearance than the older ones did. A clutch kit will probably be a must. EPI and QSC are supposed to make good ones.

      @@Temptation_Offroad the reason I know is that I did the exact thing, lol.ssame lift. sporty 700 and my snow plow attachment, even being on the front is still low, has hung me up more times than I can remember. it hits rocks and trail junk, vines, branches, me dragging stuff around but, then winter hits and the plow goes on and its worth it. as long as, like you said, for deep stuff you would have to take it off. are you happy with this highlifter? i dig it. I run 27in. bighorns. is it fine with the 28's?

      @@lluwd For what i need the 28s work fine but i would of preffered to go with 27s. Only thing is they didnt make this tire in a 27 inch version. The 28s rub the fenders when turning still even with the lift.

    Are you using the stock axles? Cause I have a lift for mine and put it on but it made my axles bing so I wanna know if your CV acles are stock or aftermarket

      I would say go a 800 or bigger if you want to play in the mud! Takes a lot of power to turn over big mud tires.

      Nope, everything went together pretty easily on the rear of it. The front was a pain in the neck to do.

    Not a fan of those front spacers you lose a lot of suspension travel

      Very true, what are my other options? I noticed it when riding in ruts its pretty tippy instead of having suspension flex.
