    Hey man love ur videos. Literally helped me model my sportsman after yours. Had a question though after I put on my lift kit the bushings around the sway bar aren’t tight. Is this normal. The sway bar is tight but not the bushings.

    • @CJMudCo

    I installed this kit on our 450, and it looks way higher! I also adjusted the rear springs to the 2nd highest setting. I noticed the spring on the exhaust side is either rubbing or almost rubbing the exhaust pipe. Have you ever looked at that on yours? It still looks sweet, but in desperate need of bigger tires. I’m going with some 27’s, but haven’t decided which ones yet. Do you think I will need to install a clutch kit, as you did?

    • @CJMudCo
      @CJMudCo  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Awesome! A clutch kit definitely is worth it, I feel like 27”s can go either with or without and still be ok, but I’d lean more towards doing it if you have the $$. I haven’t noticed my spring rubbing the exhaust I’ll have to check.

  • @RJVermillion
    @RJVermillion 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Quick question.. the front kit is sweet but they also offer a collar lift for the struts, where you pull the strut out of the lower sleeve put the collar on then reassemble.. so my question is, can you use both kits? The collar for the strut and sleeve and use the kit for the top of the strut like seen in video???

    • @CJMudCo
      @CJMudCo  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Honestly, I don’t think it’d work, probably not a good idea anyway, if it did work the ride would be pretty bad and it’d overextend the axles for sure.

    • @CJMudCo
      @CJMudCo  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh man! Sorry to hear, I’m surprised they broke with only 26”s. Just make sure the new axles are pushed in all the way, a little bit of play is normal at the diff. I would give it a try, I’ve heard good things about Eastlake axles.

    My wife rides on back of our 22 450 80-90% of the time and we find ourselves bottoming out a fair bit on rougher trails. I've heard that kits like this can cause cv axle problems. Does anyone know if this will be fine if both of us are on the rig most of the time. Tires are 26" slingshots. Small chance of going to 27 mud lites in the future.

      You will be fine I had the same issue with mine and my wife’s 2019 and we are running 28” terminator’s and after the lift kit we turned the shocks down 2 clicks and where it rubbed before the lift clearanced it self so no more rub and for cv angle when both of you are on it it would be just about factory angle

      From what I’ve heard the stock axles don’t hold up well in general and a lift or tires put more stress on them causing failures. I guess there’s some good aftermarket axles, I’ll probably look into some if and when I have any problems.
