Ghanaians cook this too but we add tomatoes,no plantain,you can use smoked fish as well in place of the meat.You can separate the soup from the cooked yam .....mash the yam using laddle and add red oil (served with the soup).......love the Nigerian style too

I like will try ur style if I can get ingredients. We cook soup in Jamaica too with all those ingredients u used except for d lemon grass and seed stuff. D only seed we use its d one called pimento, d nutmeg we use in porridge. The other seeds u used I don't know and have never seen. Sometimes we would add okra to this soup.

You got me there with the yam pepper soup. The igbos use stock fish , dry fish, uziza but the method is same. Well done.
