In Thailand you would get those Boss polo's at 2 for £10. After 2 holidays in Turkey I have 3 more booked from October 24 up to October 25 all inclusive. It's definitely the way to go for me.

Going back to marmaris in 6 weeks, this is a typical Brit holiday video and not very good .I go to marmaris 3 times a year. Eat and drink where the locals eat and drink. The closer you are to the beach the more you pay. By the way I wouldn't put your designer t shirts in the washing machine lol
Hang on I've got that same hat as your missus, great for sun protection. Got mine from last years Lancashire show from Seaways haulage firm. My missus disowns me when I wear it. Fancy splashing her in the face with seawater, tut tut. And a few seconds of the new Tommy Cooper with that Fez on. Take care both of you.
To answer your question. Turkey is no longer a budget destination especially in the touristic places, Marmaris, Gumbet Hisonru etc. The price for bog standard average food in Oludeniz was simply ridiculous. I have travelled extensively throughout Turkey for over 40 years and its no longer a cheap destination for the British going to these tourist summer resorts. Travel to other places in Turkey and prices are very reasonable. Iv done a lot of skiing in Turkey in winter and the price to ski is incredibly cheap compared to the Alps. A one day ski pass in Palandoken was £8 and the snow quality was incredible and the mountain wonderfully uncrowded
