had these for almost two years now. Couldn't be happier. Quality and features rival headsets at nearly double the price. It's not perfect, but I couldn't recommend it highly enough

Are the ear cuffs comfy? Want something that doesn’t hurt your ears or feel really heavy after wearing for a while
@@mackygg7978 I'm usually not a fan of over head earphones for that very reason. They become heavy and uncomfortable after a short amount of time.
I've never had that issue with these. Ear cups are super soft and comfortable. Personally, I've never had to take these off due to discomfort.

considering replacing my Roccat Kave 5.1 XTD with these. Theyve been brilliant for 6 years.
I still use them and just ordered an Elo 7.1 Air. I'll use both tho, because wireless for rhytm games just won't cut it. So I'm staying with swapping headsets whenever I play rhytm games.
@@SkyRex I'm not a rhythm game player or know anything about rhythm games like osu but wouldn't wireless headsets help because it won't distract?

I've had these for a little over a year now. Paid 60 eur. For that price, they were a steal. However, while the headset feels pretty okay to wear, it makes some extra noise while your head moves, creaks while you wear them. It's the plastics, I think. Overall sound quality is pretty awesome. Have to note that at least currently the software does not allow other option than 16 bit, 48 KHz Sample rate. The USB model of this headset does allow, apparently. I don't know if they made some software change with some update, but I am not the only one complaining about it. Also, I noticed the newest software version has only 48 KHz sample rate option. I see from your review that there used to be also a lower option. Microphone may be the Achilles' heel of this product. It picks up too much ambient noise, certainly quite poorly designed, thinking noise cancellation. While my battery seems to have lasted well, the meter is irritatingly inaccurate, and I do wish the battery lasted longer. But, for the price, this been okay. I have other wired headset that I use on my PC but this has been my go-to wireless headset since I bought this, mainly because I like my RGBs synced and I also have Roccat keyboards and mice - a long-time fan of the brand. I have a feeling the company's quality may have sunk somewhat after Turtle Beach bought them.

some of the options that sound weird when turned on sound normal and even better after about 5 min of using them.
I just got these and so far they are great. I definitely prefer the mic monitoring off, I can't stand the slight echo of my own voice. I can hear myself already when I talk. The jury is still out on the Surround Settings and Superhuman hearing. I definitely do not like the way Superhuman hearing sounds when watching this video, but I'll try it in FPS games where hearing specific noises is more important to me than enjoying the sound. I am a try hard after all...
Also, my computer detects them as speakers and not headphones for some reason. So far that hasn't seemed to affect anything, but we'll see. I just found that odd.

More Options is only a bug. I think meanwhile its fixed bei Roccat. You only can select 16bit now.

Biggest initial complaint is the headset is too tight around my head. It surprises me considering I previous had the wired version of the headset and was more comfortable. Not sure if this is just because it's new and needs some wearing in.

Hi, I got the headset on Thursday and since using it I have a crackling feeling every 5/10 seconds in my left ear when people talk whether it's in video games or vocal with friends!
The right side the sound is perfect and very pleasant!
I don't know if you have any idea why or what changes to make to make it good!

Well, you convinced me. I just had a ProX Wireless from logitech literally fall apart on me after less than 2 months. Took great care of it. Now honestly, i'm banking on your comment about the swivel being solid. That's usually the point of failure for me with headsets. I don't have a small head, but i'm not Andre the Giant over here, either. That's usually where my headsets fail and why i shopped previously, almost exclusively, for headsets without the swivel. Turtle beach has never really impressed me but its time to give them another shot i think. Besides, the software can't be any worse than the new LGS x__x

I have to agree with some stuff said in this video. I've just got this headset. When in Discord chatting to your friends. They sound off. Something just isn't right, slightly digital sound, just like when you could hear the mic test on this video. Even with all the tinkering on the rubbish Swarm app (And it is rubbish) connecting the headset to app was easy but it had a habit of disconnecting. Had to restart my PC to reconnect again (Hasn't done it today tho). I do agree with keeping the voice and audio clarity off. It makes people in Discord sound even worse than it already is when switched on. 100% agree with the ear cushions, would be nice if it was fabric like the head rest. I am thinking about returning them and going back to my RIG 800LX plus they felt more comfortable. P.S Great video.

For a while I had the Elo X and after that broke after my dog pulled it to the floor multiple times with the long cable, I upgraded to this, the usb version. Audio is better but once you start playing voice chatting and listening to music at the same time, I feel like audio quality starts suffering, a problem the Elo X didn't have.

I'm getting ungodly audio crackle that I can't seem to be able to fix. Pretty big issue for early days.
The software is highly customizable which can be a double edged thing. I'm not sure if it's a setting in there or what but it's like the speakers are blowing out with bursts of static and the volume is not all that high at all.
did you ever find a work around for this issue?
You may not know, but Turtle Beach has been in the PC scene for years with their sound cards.

I bought almost 2 years ago Corsair Void Pro for more of the price of these and im not really liking Corsair... Especially because these are wired headphones with cables that are non-braided and they already starting to ruin a bit... Im highly thinking of upgrading to these Elo headphones because I always wanted to go wireless and also ive recently bought the Roccat Aimo 122 keyboard which is just absolutely fantastic and blew me away with the overall quality of it. Roccat definitely bought me in here.

I wonder if you program your EQ and/or RGB before switching to a ps4/5 if any of the settings will remain? I know you can't change the settings from a ps4 because the headset require the PC App in order to utilize these features, but I remember with the Corsair Void if you had certain features toggled before plugging into a ps4, you then couldn't change that toggle while still plugged into the ps4- you had to plug it back into the PC first, like even mute couldn't be switched.

I bought this too, but maybe it was just me, but the connection USB was hit and miss. I lost the connection for no reason at all and could not get it back without re-attaching the USB stick, or restarting the headset, or quite frankly having to restart the PC. I had to return it.
Mine stooped working and I can't figure out why do you maybe know?

Which headset should I buy for my Series X??ROCCAT Elo 7.1 Air Wireless or Xbox Wireless Headset? They’re both $99. Xbox has Bluetooth connectivity and the other one is via USB. The ROCCAT has better bass accuracy according to RTINGS.

@@maxfeng9666 It's ok, got this headset this week, they sure took their time. I mostly used it for Call of Duty with superhuman hearing. Footsteps are really loud, still I got confused sometimes where it comes from. I knew if it was left or right but if they would come from left/right front or left/right behind. I had trouble. It got better now and its my first 7.1 so not sure how it compares. My Playtime was ~4h this week. Sorry that I can't help better :/ And I use FPS preset for equalizer, maybe there are things to change, but again it's my first time playing with such settings.

That's a tough choice. I think the ELO Air sounds better but the G733 is more comfortable.

Spent a few hours with the G733 and man am I impressed!! Super comfortable and I was blown away with the sound quality. Sure it lacks in low bass but everything else is there and on pin point of footsteps and other sounds to look in the direction before you see it. Also super comfortable like you said. Had no comfort issues after keeping it on for hours of play.

The weirdest thing with mine is they are locked ot 16bit 44khz. sound performance is horrible, cannot change this.

It is quite snug, tighter than most I'd say. For me it's a perfect headset except the horrible audio quality and useless EQ which is a deal breaker unfortunately. :

@@jwustrau420 I have and also some third party EQs to no avail. Spent 10+ hours with it and it still bothers me, kills any immersion. the underwhelming audio quality is software related.

I purchased these for $100. I plan on using them for both PC and PS4. They are definitely designed for PC.
As for PS4 use. The volume sliders on the headset do not work on PS4. While on PS4 the volume may also feel like it's stuck on medium and doesn't get very loud. However modifying your PS4 sound setting may help. Haven't tested the microphone. Does not come with an optional aux port. It is strictly wireless with a dongle. Also it does work on phones at least not without 3rd party accessories.
Biggest complaint is that the leather can hurt your ear after wearing it for a while. But since the leather is replaceable it's not too bad.
EDIT: Does NOT work on phones immediately out of the box. May need additional accessories like a USB-C to USB input attachment.
Also the dongle is USB. Similar to a wireless mouse.

I just got these. When I play a game the audio crackles in and out. the transmitter is in the front of my pc tower so I dont think its interference. Drivers are up to date. Any onw know of a fix?

@@shockat5070 the blue tooth seems to not connect instantly. So sometimes when you boot up it is more often than not finicky. Like it doesn't connect right away.

Im not sure about the 7.1 Thing. I prefer Stereo bc f.e. my Vrituoso sounds so good in Stereo but with 7.1 on its trash for music and in games as well..

Headset stopped working after a year of use, random disconnects, wont turn on even after charging for hours.
Good headset till it dies, no reviewer ever takes that into consideration.
mine is having the same issue after just 4 months they disconnect like theyre dying even though it hasnt been more than 2-3 hrs and now theyre having sound stutter problems even though im nearby and my drivers and software is updated. im honestly done with roccat, even got the keyboard and mouse and those didnt even last without issues...
