Loved these before the plastic attaching the cups started to break away & consistently chip. It also would creak and you could hear the metal creaking and breaking while you're wearing them. I'm not rough with my equipment either.

Honestly they're all great headsets. I haven't been able to properly demo/review the Void Elites yet so I can't compare directly. The Cloud series are pretty damn amazing for the price too.

Which headset should I buy for my Series X? ROCCAT Elo 7.1 Air Wireless or Xbox Wireless Headset? They’re both $99. Xbox has Bluetooth connectivity and the other one is via USB. The ROCCAT has better bass accuracy according to RTINGS.
My headset has worked since Christmas but today it suddenly started to mess up. The stick and the headset are paired, but my ps4 keeps switching the input and output to tv and none. But I can switch back to using the headset, until it decides to do it again.
I bought the ELO USB ones yesterday and overall I'm pretty happy with them, but my only problem is that they are so extremely loud. If I turn my sound up to more than 6 in the windows settings it hurts my ears. Is it possible to turn them down a bit, without having to manually turn down the volume of each program?
@@roci8379 Yeah but the wheels only change the volume level of the computer, not the actual output of the headset. My problem is that my volume is set low already, but the headset is still very loud. I know there are headsets that have extra wheels to change their volume regardless of the windows volume level, but this one doesn't apparently. :/

Hi, any suggestions as to why the wireless Air version keep disconnecting every few minutes. USB sleep/power settings disabled/max power plan. Even with the cable connected they disconnect
The cable is used for charging only so it won't fix your dropout. Try a different (or two) USB ports to see if relocating the transmitter helps get it synched up a bit better. There is no sync button on the headset so power cycling and relocating the transmitter are your best options. If that doesn't work, I would hit up Roccat support!
@@GadgetryTech uninstalled the swarm software and it works fine under windows, only downside is you can't turn off the rgb - so 15 hours max battery. i got in touch with Roccat and they have advised a new firmware is out imminently so to try it.
had these headsets for exactly 2 days, returned them after being faulty at keeping the connection in 1m range of receiver and after seing how bad they were at reproducing sounds with SuperHuman Hearing option activated. even with all eq tweaks, still worse than the almighty Logitech G533
Excellent review and walkthrough! I do have a question though... I got everything else working fine, but when I use ANY voice recorder and attempt to use Magic Voice, it doesn't work. My normal voice just records. I've made sure to hit Apply each time I've tried and restarted the program and my computer but still no dice. Any thoughts?

Go into Windows sound settings and go to mic , then additional properties. There will be a check-box to enable Magic Voice. I had same problem too as well as not hearing the voice-change while monitoring. If you enable monitoring in the Windows properties for mic , you will hear it.
Have USB version. When I plug in I hear faint static noise when no audio is playing when I turn on mic monitoring it gets worse and more loud. Can some one confirm that is it normal or it's hardware issue? Software firmware was ruled out, I've tried 4 diff pc's it's the same on all.
@@featherfly1197 not really normal, but it's there, probably a software issue, roccat is not known for well made drivers. Anyway the stereo versions should not have this issue and the 7.1 virtual surround is really bad on the Elo

You are stuck with their DAC ! better off get $40 on sale one (ELO X) and use whatever DAC you prefer. LED is really dumb IMO , esp. on a headset. ELO X can be used with a phone or music player too , and use it with a better DAC too.
So I bought these 3 days ago and yesterday morning I removed the detachable mic and can’t hear myself in the mic monitoring. I believe the mic is just broken the whole headset works and all. If I get a new replacement for the detachable mic would it give the same audio?
Build quality is total crap. Had them for 1.5 years, used once a month, kept them really good but plastic that holds main frame cracked and fell in to the pieces on both sides. Sound and functionality is great tho. Frame made popping sounds from the beginning. I do not reccommend.
y'all the microphone aint it, cannot make mine work in calls on discord without having the mic in my mouth. Used setting from swarm app, disc setting n settings in general

I got over 30' on mine without drops. The transmitters can be picky on placement and interference. I would try a different USB port to see if it helps.

Xbox doesn't support USB headsets. An Xbox wireless headset should work wirelessly on your Xbox.

You can turn use the wheels on the back of the headset to turn down the volume

Both sides must be the same color, but can be changed to anything you want.

Thanks! Try disabling exclusive mode in your windows sound settings for that microphone. That may fix it

Unfortunately it does not. Turtle beach is now for console and Roccat is for PC. They are under the same umbrella now.
a Creative DAC is better than the built-in DAC. Separates ALWAYS better.
