  • When Pat Kinsella was diagnosed with a terminal illness aged just 48, he decided to complete a marathon in his wheelchair to help raise awareness of his disease. Pat joined Logan River parkrun in Queensland to help with his training, before turning his hand to volunteering, and he has rarely missed a week since. This is Pat's story 🎥

Parkrun was so important to my Dad. When he could no longer run or walk, he volunteered every week, until just two weeks before his death. Our parkrun family honoured him and continues to honour him. We are so grateful.

There is still hope. I know of a testimonial of someone in SouthAfrica who was diagnosed with MS many many years back. He did research, gradually got his health back, wrote a book and now has a health shop and his life mission is to help others. I will see if I can post a photo of his book's front cover and back cover.
Otherwise : his name is Johan Jacobs and the title of his book is "GO NATURAL" .
