- As my path changes, I feel like my book of shadows should change too. After all, it is a reflection of me and of my path as I am living it. This is just a quick little mini tour of my BOS and my path as I walk it today.

I agree! Sometimes my most powerful workings are the messy ones. I am learning to be okay with messy art as well, slowly. I am sure it will come more easily over the years. I am leaning into Earth and Water right now. It feels good.
Happy birthday. you will love your new cycle, and yes, my spirituality also evolved when I entered my 60’s. I have a simple relationship with my Goddess Hulda, and I focus more on working with the elements, and are more seasonal focussed, and don’t care much for heavy rituals anymore. Have fun and enjoy your new cycle. Your book of shadows are really nice. I like the way you paint over your pages and start fresh with new ideas.

Queen! LOL It has taken me years to put this book together. I used to use binders. There are many simple things in my book. Simple is beautiful.

Thank you for sharing a glimpse into you BOS 🤩 One way I like to change / cover something in mine is to make a pocket out of vellum and cover the old with it. Then I add the new to the pocket. Because *inevitably* I wind up needing something from the original entry. This way, at first glance, it's covered but I can still see it if I need to!

It took me a long time to purchase my leather bound books and then after I purchased them it took quite some time to actually put a pen to the paper. Little did I know that paint covers up what I want to take away.
@@beanbaghagwag it so hard to put pen to paper in the leather bound books. My brain keeps saying, “ it’s so pretty, it must stay perfect” Lol! However… using the paint… that’s a great tip! ✨☺️✨

@kylaallen822 I know the art was not her own. I've seen that old witch on prints. I think I remember her saying she got permission to use it in her shop. I bet you could make one with a 7 day candle.
