This resonates with me❤ I had such a hard time with trying to find where me and my channel fit into the witchcraft and TH-cam niche that it caused me struggle.. Recently, I realized I would just be me and my own strangeness and my own magic. True magic and witchcraft is the experience not just how to videos. Thanks for your video ❤

We aren't quite ready for snow yet here in NH, we need 2 more weekends LOL!🌻 I just overhauled my channel and it was suggested to niche down; I just can't. So I switched to vlog and deleted a bunch of videos for the algorithm. I'm now just a witchy, herbal, just me vlog. More me, More comfortable, I think we're all ready for comfortable. If I don't get a ba-jillion subs, that's ok; I'm making friends and connections. Thank you for being one, I appreciate you💚

Sing it, Sister! This video really spoke to me, as I have felt the same for so long. I did change the name of my channel several years ago (by adding "at the Crone House"), to reflect that I would be sharing more of my daily witchy life -- some loved it, many others did not like it at all. I've always had division, as I do show a lot of tarot, but I am not a deck collector, and many tarot enthusiasts are not witches and many witches don't give a fig for tarot. But tarot is such a big part of my daily life and I really love to share how it works for me. I absolutely LOVE your channel, I never miss a video and see most of them several times. Watching your videos feels like enjoying a rare treat that I look forward to enjoying again and again! Hahaha! We were just teasing our eldest daughter about being a "Swiftie Over 50", and here I am, over 70, fangirling you! Whatever you call your "niche", it is my absolute favorite! I so agree! The algorithm wants us to make the same content every time. But it stunts our growth and creativity just like staying in the same practice daily. Yeah that's why I share my craft as it evolves and changes through my videos and I ignore the algorithm or the feeling that I must stay in my lane! Let's be rebels ❤

I find watching you go about your life and how you incorporate your magical practice much more interesting than just being all about witchcraft. You don't really need a niche. I understand it is more desirable to establish one, according to YT. But are our lives really all about pleasing YT? Keep doing what you have been doing. Well said Trish. Personally, I think there are more than enough beginner witchcraft books and channels to go around. But hey I am old school. When I started all we had was about 5 books at a bookstore and the internet was a very long way from being created. The how-to channels do have a benefit though, they might show you an alternative method that you might never have thought of otherwise.🖤

Thank you for this video and also for sharing your story of depression. Sounds a lot like my battle. Sometimes I get messages and signs from my family that have passed. Today on my doorstep I found a dragonfly. I think it's in its last hours of life and was so thankful it found me to share this. I've always associated my mom with dragonflies, she passed in 2016, so when I see one and it makes a point of flying within reach of me, I feel it is her.

Blessed Samhain love!! I worked in a Nursing facility for over 25 years before MS changed my career. The stories I could tell! Also, when my mom passed last December, that was a special moment. The room about 20 minutes before she passed, I was blessed to have held her hand before she left us, the room got very cold. She let us know it was time.
