Wow! you are full of surprises! Is there no end to your vintage tools? 3/4” yet too…….just wow! How long have you been collecting the treasure of tools you have? Great job on the ratchet 👍👏🇺🇸 Rick
I just found that BB date code ratchet so I thought I’d make a video. When I seen the 5649 on it I had to go and check my other Plomb ratchets. I had no clue there were different era ratchets with the same model number. Very interesting stuff even though they’re just tools. I started actually collecting these old tools about a year ago. If you scroll down on my channel, you’ll see the 1st set that got me started on this mission. I haven’t missed an estate sale, swap meet, garage sale since. I needed this First Sergeant… This is fun and makes me happy. That Band Saw really bummed me out. I’m ok now, I know I’ll come up with a solution for the blade issue. I’ll make a beautiful Band Saw Box once I get Her all Squared Away.
Thanks. I do love these Big Ol’ ratchets. It’s cool to learn about them. I just found the BB one and wondered what the BB meant. Now I know the first B in the 2nd year of the 1940’s and the other B stands for the 2nd month of the year. Now I want to see if I can find some of the same 5649 ratchets with different date codes. This should be fun. Thanks for watching and commenting Ryan 👍🏼
Yeah me too. I love that Pebble Period. Only 3 years for the best looking tools? I’ll never understand that. I’m trying to put together Everything Pebble. They don’t pop up very often. I found a set of Pebble Flare Wrenches but I’m missing the 7/16” one. There’s a video on my channel about them. They’re cool look’n. Thanks for watching and I hope you find some of those ratchets.
