Arson isn’t just a capstone to a brilliant album but also sums up how not just JHope but also BTS set a fire that got out of control with their music but now they face a choice to go forward and create more (and fire as a reference to creation is something they’ve used before) or burn out. Powerful imagery here.

The people that say there's no CGI in BTS videos don't know what they're talking about lol. But oftentimes things that we think must be CGI turn out to not be in a behind the scenes video, so that's where the idea comes from and some people might get confused. So they do a lot of cool stuff that could be done in CGI as well, but that doesn't mean they don't do CGI at all :)
I think what most people mean is that they do everything they can to not use CGI and/or it also depends on their concept.
@@amberpearce710 yeah definitely. just some people go like noo they don't use cgi and then reactors are confused when there obviously is cgi, that's all :)
Were the cars in this video rly cg? Cause the behind the scenes seemed to have all of them, tho I didn’t count

i highly recommend checking out j-hope's performance at lollapalooza, he did absolutely amazing! you can find the full performance on the official bangtan tv's channel, and i also uploaded that same performance with subtitles which you can find on my channel, if you'd prefer reading the lyrics along:) (which i highly recommend 'cause hobi's writing and storytelling throughout his albums are mind blowing)

2Edit: sorry for two lol. Most ARMY know they use some CGI. I think what we try and say is they will do everything they can to not use CGI and/or it also depends on the concept of the song. (However yes they do use some CGI) Also their is nothing wrong with CGI, it is just amazing how much they actually do without using CGI.
Yes, and as much as possible they use CGI to *enhance* practical effects, rather than add non-existent effects using CGI only. For this MV, because they used practical effects in the first section, they only had two chances at the take. Hobi said they used take 2 because he looked best in that one. 😂 (Obviously, the part where we "flew into" hobi's body is an exception to their usual practice...lol)

Being from the upper peninsula I wish I could see them in concert being a single mom of two one being autistic I don't think I could they saved my life two yrs ago Aug 30th n brought me back to my kids after a tremendous heart ache. Month I stayed in bed not eating or drinking water I owe them so much 💜💛🖤🤍🤟🤟🤟💛

No one would say that there's no cgi on this because it's so obvious it has. But the cars and explosions were real, you can see it in the behind the scenes.

You are wrong, the Fire, Explosions and the Cars are all real J Hope even designed both Sets for both MV's and had Storyboards like in OG Movies he has a behind the scenes video aka Bangtan Bomb to Arson. BTS are always trying to use real sets, props, fire, water, manual special effects, they have Movie Budget Productions for their MV's and always want to do it as real as possible and have the resources to do it so. The only CGI is the Arson spelled out later and the Heat scene, even Hobis Make Up in the last Scene is real Make up, it took them hours. Recommend watching the Bangtan Bombs for Arson and More.
not really wrong... they meant that heart shot scene. The rest they don't know, yet. But that was obvious. Nothing wrong with CGI if it is done well... (and we know HYBE is trying some new stuff with technology like in winter 2020 when the via computer input Yoongi entered the "Life Goes On" performance.)
But yeah... lots and lots of real stuff. which is great!
The fire Arson is not real?? Are we sure about this? It wouldn't be that hard to actually make it happen in real life I would think so wouldn't it cost more to CGI it?
@@soulygrz5119 Yes, it's in the Bangtan Bomb, it was made with marks for CGI for Hobi safety. Dude BTS and Hobi and their Label are billionaires...they don't need to worry about Budget, Hobi wears 200k Watches...but again they made it for his saftey... watch the behind the scenes.
@@notbanksy2977 i did watch it, i didn't see they said the flames were CGI. What i understood is that HOBI was placed into the flames through CGI but not necessarily that the flames were fake too. Just because they are billionaires doesn't mean they just throw money around unnecessarily, if you didn't know rich people can be liberal with spending for themselves but super stingy with work business, that's how they become billionaires. I know Hybe can pay for that super easily but idk if they would if practical fire is better for the end product anyway.

You are wrong, dudes. The camera did go inside jhope and we saw his charred heart. There are CG effects but they do try to use real props whereever they can.

Hi, I am back. Good reaction, ty. I know u said u love Agust D stuff. Did u see his Agust D ‘give it to me’ MV th-cam.com/video/_Zgc12yL5ss/w-d-xo.html it is the 2nd MV after his Agust D one it continues a story. Well JHope I feel uses if not the same bridge than a similar setting as Yoongie. This was something else. Really powerful and scary images. I totally forgot to turn CCs on on 1st watch. Oops. For some reason it felt short. The ppl running on fire, geez. Ok, rewatched reading the lyrics. This is deep I think. My brain is not that insightful. I am going to have to watch reaction vids to figure this out. I want to know JHope's msg. My brain is just not working to figure it out. The Visuals were cool. Scary but cool. It's rap so it's short, makes sense. I did not like it much on 1st listen or even 3. It took me some time to get used to his rhythm. I Like More better its catchy. I like his truth. Basically, Hobi is telling a story of how he's the arson that started the fire of his career and only he can put the fire out, so he says, the motivation behind his thoughtless ambition, like fame, money started the flame. 2 verse he goes into now that he has all that, up goes his born haters, but he's good, because he has his fan, label and fellas, that they burn bright together, Arsonist was fun, and tells the haters to F off.
