- Today we're making a Strawberry Cheesecake Pound Cake with a Vanilla Cream Cheese Glaze.

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ARE PROVIDED IN THE VIDEO.
INGREDIENTS I USED:
Start in oven preheated to 325 degrees for 1 hour 10-15 mins
3 Sticks of Butter (Room Temperature)
3 Cups Sugar
5 Eggs (Room Temperature)
3 Cups Swans Cake Flour
1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
1/4 Tsp Salt
1 Cup Milk (Room Temperature)
1 Small box Cheesecake Jello Pudding
1 Small box Strawberry Jello
1 Tablespoon Strawberry Extract
2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
FOR VANILLA CREAM CHEESE GLAZE I USED:
Powdered Sugar
Cream Cheese
Butter
Milk
Vanilla Extract
Cream Bouquet (Optional)

Ms Donna I'm obsessed with all your videos. My mom baked cakes, pies, homemade rolls you name it was in the oven. I lost my mom in 2012 and my world was upside down. Mrs. Donna, the first cake would be good for cake pops. Cut and trash the top, sides and bottom. Use the center and and icing, roll into balls. Place sucker sticks in ball midway to center, then dunk in icing and place on wax paper to air dry.😊

Donna I made the blueberry cheesecake pound cake. I have an autoimmune disease and I tire easily, not to mention I started this at 2:30 am. By the time the cake was done I was tired so I didn't make the glaze. The next morning half of the cake was gone. They said it was so good it didn't need a glaze. I like frosting but they were right.
Mrs. Donna! Oh my goodness, I made this cake on Saturday evening and it was a HIT!!! I followed everything you did to the T. I dropped a few slices off by my mom and little brother (who doesn't like strawberry). They tore it up so I went back around the corner to give them more! The cake was gone Sunday. Definitely keeping this recipe in rotation! :)

I made this cake to serve st a dinner meeting and it was amazing! I did add a little red food coloring to the drizzle food a pink tint and added fresh sliced strawberries on top to decorate. My hubby who’s not big on sweets couldn’t stop talking about how good it was. I’ve made several of her cakes and so far this is my favorite

The mixer is by Paula Deen… I believe it’s discontinued though But she uses a 4.2 qt stand mixer and I follow her recipes and use a 18 cup angel cake/pound cake Bundt pan.
