I was hoping for a Lucite barrier between them, because you *_know_* trump will do everything he can to blather his BS no matter who is talking. I was hoping for some fact checks, it's extremely difficult to debate with, or campaign against, a party or a candidate who has no relationship with truth or facts.
During Trump's presidency, the inflation rate increased 7.75%. The Republican-led state of Florida has the highest year-over-year inflation rate in the United States at 3.99%.

Honest question, is anyone going to remind Trump about his 5th Amendment Rights before the debate tonight? He is still a criminal defendant in 3 different jurisdictions and if he says anything about the cases, anything he says can be used against him in court.
The message: the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior.
I am predicting Trump will interrupt even if his mic is turned off. If this happens, the moderators should tell Trump, "Stop interrupting the PRESIDENT."

I think you are absolutely right we are talking about someone with no self discipline or control l can see him shouting over Biden when his microphone is muted. The one good thing about him doing this is that anger and aggression coupled with his hubris is so ugly and can cause a visceral reaction in most people

Sometimes, late at night when sleep doesn't come, my anxiety climbs thinking about what might have happened had Biden not won ... or Congress actually messed with the certification. I am so grateful to the Americans who came out and voted for Biden - and did not repeat the mistake of 2016. I am both grateful to Biden for having achieved so much in such a harrowing time, and with hardly a margin in Congress - and protective of him.

As a viewer I would greatly appreciate the moderators fact-checking throughout the debate. We deserve that! If Biden does it himself it’s likely to come across as defensive and unconvincing, and too easy for uninformed viewers to dismiss.
I saw Georgia governor Brian Kemp speak for the first time this morning. It was shocking to hear how stupid he sounds. I prefer listening to smart compassionate people like Stacey Abram’s.

i hope biden makes this point: this week somebody asked trump what he thought of taylor swift. all he could say was that she's beautiful and she's liberal. and yes both of those things are true. and yes, she's also good at writing and singing hit songs. but if trump were half as skilled a businessman as he says he is, and if he were even a fraction as smart as he claims, he'd know and appreciate and cite her business savvy; she re-recorded all of her music so that she would be fairly compensated when those songs got played.
