There is a place as an Independent which now accounts for 50% of registered voters. 25% GOP & 25% Dems.... Alaska, Maine and others have either implemented Non Partisan Primaries or some form of "non-binary" politics. The 2 party system does not fairly represent voters and the divisive, negative, self indulged party format that invites violence & insurrection is exactly what George Washington warned us about in his farewell address regarding party politics. He is often ranked as one of the top, if not top, presidents in history & the only one that was independent. Among Presidential Scholars, Obama ranks 7th best, Biden 14th and Trump 3rd worst. One ballot, let voters vote for candidates NOT parties. Liz Cheney is welcome.

Kinzinger is not and never was a Rep...thats why he was chased out of the Rep party. It's political strategy...you send in your own people to hold seats/votes on the other side. He just held a Rep seat/vote from the Reps.
It’s sad beyond measure that a man like Adam, who clearly possesses a moral compass, dignity, and rampant intelligence ever felt a need to leave Congress when he’s exactly what we need in our countries political sphere. I have been so sick by our politicians for so very long. You can believe me when I tell you I am no Republican nor am I a Democrat. It is my hope that these members of the cult will loose the election to the national majority but there is something even more important. Democracy must win. While I dissent from some of Kinzinger's views, there are several that we share. I applaud him for his overall support of human rights, including supporting DACA and voting to support access to abortion, the right to contraception, and to pass the Respect for Marriage Act. Most especially, I admire the fact that, despite voting against Trump's first impeachment (which he's said he regrets doing), he's since then willingly sacrificed his own political career to defend democracy and promote bipartisan efforts to better the lives of all Americans, regardless of their political leanings
The most important thing about January 6 is to hammer the point that Trump was PERSONALLY responsible for all of it.

While I may never agree with Adam on so many things I am so ABSOLUTELY PROUD of him for everything he is doing and doing the right thing for the USA and democracy around the world by putting his ideals and his sense of morality before his personal advancement. He’s truely a good, empathetic person. I also think through more exposure and conversation with real democrats, he’s finally realising that many things he was led to believe about Democrats was a propaganda falsehood. Great show! I hadn’t seen the flag commercial yet, but I love it! I agree with everything Adam said about taking our flag back and the idea of freedom. This was something that has bothered me so much over the years, that these people took that identity and aligned it with insurrectionists and Trumpers. I used to always fly a flag outside my house but haven’t since Trump, except certain holidays, because I didn’t want anyone to think I was a Trumper.
If people are concerned with age and dementia of the candidates, Biden needs to draw attention to who he surrounds himself with. Capable, intelligent people who have decades of experience as opposed to Trump who surrounds himself with inexperienced sycophants and family members. Ok. This is an economics issue. The last time that this country put most of our hopes into Tariffs on all imports ( goods coming into this country) was 95 years ago this October. Our congress and pres. at the time Hoover. Does anyone know what happened the DAY after the bill bill was signed. The Stock Market crashed. Causing a world wide depression.

How can you blame inflation on a president? I myself am quite poor, and yet inflation is not a concern of mine at all, because inflation is just something that happens, no matter who is president, and you just have to live with it. I'm not concerned about immigrants either. Immigrants are important to our economy, for one thing. And who can blame people who are living under tyranny for wanting to escape? If Trump were to be elected again, we might find a lot of Americans emigrating to other countries! A friend of mine almost died recently. The doctor said only 2% of people with what she had live. She wasn't aware that she was that bad off or that she needed to go to the hospital. But the immigrant that she had allowed to live in her house with her saved her life by calling the ambulance. Her children came to see her from all over the world, thinking she was dying. But she recovered, after spending months in rehab, etc., and her life was saved by that immigrant. I don't care about the price of gas or these other stupid things. The price of gas goes up and down. What I care about is the U.S. staying in NATO and being the beacon of hope for the rest of the world. I care about continuing to live in a country that purports to value freedom, like having control over your own body and being able to practice your own religion or no religion, and having a president and a Congress that spend their time making life better for all our citizens, That's what I care about.

The message about inflation should be simple.
1. The pandemic did cause some legitimate disruptions to the supply chain and did result in some increased consumer demand, and both of these factors did result in prices for certain items increasing temporarily.
2. Corporations took advantage of these disruptions to raise prices even further in order to increase profits; the President of the United States does not have direct control over setting the prices that private businesses charge their customers.
3. President Biden did institute policies that, on the edges, fight the corporations gouging their customers, and, as a result, the U.S. has experienced lower inflation than the extremes that were experienced by the rest of the world.
4. President Joe Biden, unlike Donald Trump, is continuing to work to tax the windfall profits these businesses overcharged their customers and give it back to the American people through the U.S. government, whereas Trump is wanting to lower taxes for these corporations and billionaires even further.
