  • Hey all. Thanks for tuning in for another edition of "Omni Moto has no idea what to upload, so he'll just do commentary on a brand that works well for his channel."
    I appreciate all of your patience with me while I still iron out some details on getting to do more test rides for the channel. There will be more to come, it just won't be immediately. Your patience will be rewarded though. :)
    I hope you enjoyed the facts I brought to the table about the 800NK. I'd very heavily consider getting one of these for myself if they come to the USA, solely for the fact it has very useable power and it has ~~cruise control~~. I don't think I mentioned that in the video.
    Follow me on TikTok! Sometimes I go live there and you get to interact with me much more than just leaving comments on my videos.
    Thanks for watching, and I'll see you in the next one.

    this bike is already released in Europe, Philippines, UK, and Mexico. I don't know why bikes take awhile to hit the US market.

    They are a quality company that made a lot of components for all the big companies. From engines for Kawasaki and KTM to switch gear for BMW. They are getting their shit together and making bikes to go with the side by sides and quads. The Ibex was their declaration of intent to bring it. Turns out the 800nk is the it. The shiznit

    The premium level 800NK is a winning formula, and it is actually stealing me away from my RS660 dream bike...which I am still in the toss up stage over as there are no Aprilia dealerships in my state. Currently riding a 300NK as my daily, I really hope the 800NK gets here next year.

      @@carlosvejar3938 I am definitely loving it, but for some reason CFMOTO decided to not release the Advanced yet...if they do at all, as that is the one I would buy. I messaged them on their USA website, and they said they have no comment until there is an official public launch announcement, which was very disappointing.

      Middle weight class has been gaining more popularity every year IMO since probably 2015. The 70-120 horsepower range is a really fun segment for most riders. 😎

      @@Omni_Moto tbh I want even supposed to know there's some here. From what my guy told me, they did the same thing last year with the 450SS. They had a couple come in so they could see them firsthand, work on them a bit. Put them up in display. We legit had the 450SS here in the states like 7 months before they released here.

      PICS OR IT DIDN'T HAPPEN...but seriously, MAN I hope so. Honda is really dropping the ball if they don't do a surprise drop with the Hornet 750. Suzuki put together a really good bike, I sat on one of the 8S at my local dealership and it is REALLY nice. I just don't dig the blue one, the colors are not all that for launch, but both the black and white are equally nice, but the white has the edge as it has a more aggressive look as the points on the air collectors stand out more. But I am so getting the first 800NK Premium that hits the USA for sale, that thing has my name on it already. Great international reviews already.

      Sport-touring motorcycles are never really (IMO) geared to look spectacular to begin with. Just visited their global page to take a gander, and yea, its uhh... Not great lol. The rest of their line is very well done and I find they have great curb appeal next to other OEM offerings in the same classes.

    The 800nk looks better than the KTM 790 Duke IMO.

    • @Omni_Moto
      @Omni_Moto  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      KTM's design language is definitely unique, that's for sure. Interestingly enough, I think the NK is on the same frame as the Duke 790, so it really is just bodywork and the front end that makes the appearance of this machine so "different". Thanks for watching!

    Hey Omni Dude, you must mention that the 800NK doesn’t come with traction control. That’s going to be a handful. I’ve got the 8S in black & to me personally, the 8S is a better build quality than the Hornet. It looks bland & cardigan style.

    • @Omni_Moto
      @Omni_Moto  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I sold a GSX-8S recently and I loved everything about it while I motored it around the lot. If it just had cruise control, I would even think about trading the MT in for an 8S for myself in that beautiful white color scheme. 🤌 Might just have to get one anyway and add an Atlas Throttle lock 🔐
      Even though on paper the 800NK might best the others, I am going to reserve my final opinion until I ride one to say if it’s worth the asking price, when that is revealed. Traction control is something I hadn’t noticed was missing, but now that you point that out, it is for sure something a bike of this caliber can justify. Maybe if they bring the premium trim level to the states, then buyers will have a choice (if the prem. version gets TC, that is).
      On the note of the Hornet, most Honda motorcycles strike me as bland. They aren’t always the most exciting, but they do live up to the reputation they’ve made for themselves for reliable performance. It’s a shame really, but maybe they’ll break the mold and be more bold with a 2nd generation at some point.

    • @stevesanelli90
      @stevesanelli90 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Omni_Moto thanks for the reply Omni Dude😉🙌 Perhaps the states will get the next generation NK which will have TC just like the 2nd gen 800MT explorer edition. Fingers crossed 🤞. The 8S bizarrely is porkier than everything but is so planted & genuinely nimble it belies it’s weight! It’s a perfect size for my frame … I’m not 6ft😉 But taller riders I read about fit better on this than the Hornet. Honda will have a winner because it’s cheaper by a country mile, but it’s boring as bat shit. Just look at their cars & MotoGP bike😉🤦‍♂️ Safe styling but let’s give ‘em HP & a tiny 160 rear tyre to make it agile & cheap… must be cheap.💀
