Great video. I've been looking for this type of review for weeks. Personally, I love the screen. Missed out on the first release here in Oz but got an advance on order for all the things you mentioned
It’s definitely worth the extra - one of our sale team has bought one and loves it
Thanks for the review. Was looking for content like this. My concern with the big TFT is that I am worried that e small windscreen won't fit. Do you know if it is possible to attacht a windscreen?
So, is it a bike with a touch screen or a touch screen with a bike attached?
Could be both
That touch screen is next level stupidity. Along with KTM level of reliability, it seems like a big miss.
We’ve had no issues with reliability whatsoever
@@bikesanctuary So that is based off one bike with years of riding or a large sample size?
It’s based of being a dealership that sells 650 bikes a year. We service and maintain a large proportion of those bikes for customers who do everything from 500-10,000+ miles a year. It’s based on the fact that we have never claimed on the warranty of any 800NK. We’d say that’s a pretty good indicator
@@bikesanctuary So the Chinese are doing something the Austrians aren't. Interesting. I have had nothing but issues with KTM bikes, in particular the engines.
will it work on android ?
You can use android but you need to use another app
What app would that be ? Can't find about it.
Wow bikes are getting so sufisticared
you can't add a quick shifter on the sport version ???
You can fit an aftermarket one, but the standard one cannot be activated retrospectively
@@bikesanctuary oh ok, can you link the one you added pls ?
@@CclSpade we haven't fitted one - this is the advanced model and it comes with a shifter.
@@bikesanctuary ohh yes my bad
The tablet sized screen should come with a cover also how does it act in the rain? 6:44
So far our demo has been left outside daily with no issues. The rain doesn’t seem to affect the touch screen functions at all
Hi Ben I thought the sport version has cruise control too??
Yes that’s correct
How do you think the reliability will be?
It’s a KTM engine and Bosch electronics so no reason to think they’re any less reliable than anything else. We’ve been selling them for a few years and have to say they’re quite robust.
