I will be adding items to my store all the time and all proceeds go right back into the channel! Doing a little work on the tamiya sand scorcher! Getting this thing ready to rip again.

I think black bumpers matched to the roof rack would look perfect. Really cool build!!!

On the bumpers, sand them down with steel wool, then rip the steel wool apart do the dust from the wool sits on it. Then spray it with peroxyacetic acid. it will start to rust the flakes of steel wool. once its dry scary it with a clear coat. Real rust.
    Making Peroxyacetic Acid:
    - 1 cup White Vinegar
    - 2 cups Hydrogen Peroxide
    - 1 Teaspoon of table salt
Mix in a spray bottle until salt is completely dissolved...
Steel wool used was grade #0000

Matt black with some rust or weathering on the bumpers.
    Nice servo solution too.

Shock fluid should go in a little at a time after you put the shock shafts in moving them up and down keeping the valves in the shock oil to remove all the air top off the shocks once there is no more air and they will work as designed. The tube bumper maybe add little touches of colors to show use out on the trail or just a flat black to kinda match the roof rack just a thought great video Happy Holidays. Thanks for sharing

For the front and rear bumper I often use flat black spray paint , then wipe it off immediately to add the look of grime in the corners and cracks. Works well at light aging not so much rusting.. just look worn in.. good luck though

Put marine grease or Associated green slime on your o-rings and they will never leak

Leave the bumper shiny. These cars always had parts of varying ages and condition.

Hey man who made that METAL motor cover for you? I bought a Tamiya 23T Tuned brushed motor but cant used the stock cover as it wont fit and need to source a motor cover like that, if you can do a video of how you made it, or a link to where i can source one that would be great. Thanks, love your channel.

I picked this up used so as far as I know it is box stock from the re-release kit. Its my first one and I thought they were all metal. lol. I see some plastic ones on line now Im looking. I ran across some custom ones on google but I could never find a brand name on them

I built this kit not long ago and you didn't bleed your shocks of air by moving the piston up and down to get the air out before you tighten the plastic cap.
