    On the nuggets, it’s a little more complicated. As it stands now, the Nuggets are right at the second apron (189 mio). To make room for KCP’s raise from 16 to 20-25 mio, they need to clear cap. They traded Reggie which cleared 5.5 and they need to trade Nnaji who is at 8.8, so they would have 14 mio to work with. KCP gets 6 of that, Holmes the rookie gets 2 which leaves 6 mio for the final 3 players to fill out the roster. It’s all very tight, not a lot of wiggle room. The problems is MPJ is paid 36 mio and plays like a 25 mio player.

      You're delusional if you think this is nepotism. The kid has potential, he's athletic, smart, a good defender and a passer and will be surounded by a great coaching staff. If he got drafted top 10, then yeah, it would be too much, but 55th pick in a pretty weak draft? C'mon. The only reason people think he's not worthy of 55th pick is either because they compare him with his dad or they hate the fact he's LBJ's son.
      Are we gonna pretend he's the first ex-NBA player's son to get drafted?

    Hey Brian and ESPN podcast crew. I know Jonathan Givoneys work more than you guys do and i can tell you with more certainty that this indeed was AI generated. I’ve been reading Jonathon’s articles for almost 15 years now and this is not him. Before ESPN hired him he’d do maybe 20 full scouting reports with videos and about 5-20 half articles with only scouting reports.
    Now you guys required him to write more than 60 draft articles I say more than 60 because he did 58 for the draftees and there were about 5 players who were expected to be drafted in the lottery and went undrafted so he likely had articles for some of those written and ready to go that never were released.
    I love Givoneys work, always have just get the man some real help because about 30 of your articles this year had the same exact strengths for all 30 players and only differentiation was the wording and how the sentences were phrased.

    I don't know the stats on drafting older guys, but plenty of older draftees went on to do well in the NBA. Taj Gibson was 24 when drafted. Mutombo & Rodman were both 25. Knecht is just a few months older than Kenyon Martin & Draymond Green when they were drafted.

    I have watched O.G. since the day he entered the league in Toronto.
    Please trust me when I write this that firstly I was both a fan and hater of his abilities on the court. He makes 1 bad play for every 2 good plays. Example like the most silly of turnovers, sliding and tripping regularly, and worst of all he misses huge amounts of games, way above the average player in the league.

    • @liferealgood
      @liferealgood 2 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      As a Knick fan he was 25-5 (including playoffs). He instantly turned around the defense. He fit like a glove. He does miss alot of games but that’s why they picked up Bridges. You can monitor his workload and maybe reduce time on the court. However, the makes bad plays jab you can say that about EVERY single player in the league. While he was with the Knicks I didn’t see many routine mistakes. Injuries are his biggest issue but nothing that’s been like routine. Like Kristaps Porzingis has routine lower extremities injuries.

      @@liferealgood This is why the NBA is now trash. We are talking about glorified role players..AND the fact that they make a lot of bad plays. I think people have forgotten what the word PROFESSIONAL means. It means performing at the highest SKILL level the vast majority of the time. NONE of these dudes do that, in this era. None of them. It takes Luka, for instance 30 shots to get 30 points. These dudes are ALL overrated.

      A lot of analysts had him going later in the 1st. No one should have a problem with the Lakers taking him there as they're desperate for floor spacing. I disagree with him being a "steal," but I get it considering a lot of TV analysts had him going higher.
