Best offseason for the Sixers this whole 2020’s decade. You get PG, Oubre, Drummond and Eric Gordon. Drummond is a huge, PG is a much better 3 option than Tobias Harris and can defend at a high level. Hopefully he isn’t injury prone
50mil for pg13 to stand in a corner to shoot 3s with mediocre defense. It's a league of role definition and chemistry just ask Durant, Booker and Beal. Stars are no longer stars when asked to play a role. The Sixers will be better than before when Embiid sits though.

Morey is not a good GM! George has not done anything to warrant such a contract. He is always injured. This will stagnate Maxey's shot attempts and development. This signing should call for Morey's job after this signing. We have gotten older and not younger. This is why us Sixer fans always get disappointed. We should have gotten Ingram and Anuobye (probably spelled his name wrong) that played for Nurse in TOR. I would not be surprised if Embiid asks for a trade. If this was George from Indiana its a whole different story, but its not. He is never healthy. Disappointing to say the lease.

The signing of Paul George and Eric Gordon shows me the star hunter is no GM the sixers got older and slower, George at 34 and Eric at 35. George is not the right fit because of his mindset. So-called basketball content creators can give me all the numbers you want, It's not about that, and you will learn when the sixers are out of the play-offs in the first or second round next season. A younger, hungry, deeper team would have been better. I am glad they sign Oubre and got a good back up center. Daryl fracked up again.

Complain all you want about wanting to spend money on role players, with just Maxey, and an injury prone Embiid, you wont have enough to win a championship with who is legitimately out there to sign, to be role players on this team. We cant just trade with teams to pick and choose who we want to surround Tyrese and Joel, so screw it, sign a guy that is not only a star in this league, but a perfect fit for what we need on this roster, as well as a guy who can carry a load when we rest Joel.
Love the Drummond and Gordon signings as well, and we CAN STILL pick up a guy or two to fill out the bench.
Its a great day to be a Sixers fan. No guarantee we win a ring, because thats tough to do, but we are a better team already than a few weeks ago when we lost to the Knicks.
