I was in Sapa in 2017 … but I stayed in a hotel in the middle of the race fields up in the mountains Topas Ecolodge very nice place… Plus it gave me more opportunity to hang out with the people that live in the villages nearby

It was so sunny and clear that you were able to admire the gorgeous scenery and see all the buildings and structures up there . BTW , the cable car in Sapa is not the longest in VN . The longest one in VN and in the world is actually in Phu Quoc Island ( 8 km long and 27 minutes ride from the main Island of Phu Quoc to the terminal station on Hon Thom Island ). VN is known for owning the largest number of cable cars in the world . You can find them at many touristic and religious sites there , such as Phu Quoc Island , Vung Tau , Dalat , Nha Trang , Da Nang (Bana hills) , Tây Ninh ( the Holy Black Lady mountain ) , Huong Son ( Perfume Pagoda ) , Nui Câm mountain , Tây Thiên mountain & Yên Tu mountain ( the 5 famous Buddhist sanctuaries in VN ) , Halong Bay , Sapa and soon Mâu Son mountain . VN still has many hidden gems to offer to tourists . Unfortunately it`s still underrated by international travellers . Hopefully when the health situation in the world will get under control , more people will come to visit our country

Go trekking in Muong Hoa valley , the Love and Silver Waterfalls . Visit the Hill tribe villages ( Taphin , Lao Chai , Giang Ta Chai ) , the Heaven Gate and O Quy Ho passes . Check-out the hill tribe market in Bac Ha district on week-end (It's more authentic than the night market in Sapa) . Climb up the Fansipan with a local guide if you don't want to take the cable car . Check-out the glass bridge . It's still cold in Sapa in February . Why don't you wait till March or April to visit that region ?
Agreed with the noise! Vietnamese are absolutely the loudest people I’ve ever met 😂 But Sa Pa is a tourist town for Vietnamese too and they love exploring their own country which I find super heartwarming ❤️

Everything definitely seems a bit quieter- hard for us to know for sure though because this was our first time in Vietnam! Yes! The cable car up and down we’re both pretty empty!

Wow we were there same time as you and the weather was garbage, completely covered in fog and like 16-17 degrees. I’ve been there 3 times and every time the weather has sucked. Love Sapa though!

@@alc6799 tough question! It would depend on how fast you walk 😄 but the cable car and train wasn't very long, the walk probably took us 30-40 minutes so all in all I'd allow at least 2 hours to take your time on the way up and enjoy time at the top!
I been there on November last year, i was missed the Fanifang trip because the cable were under the maintenance, little bit disappointed but Sapa is so beaitiful place, i think you guys are missed a place call Rồng mây Bridge, that brigde is an incredible.
You guys went to Fansipan in the most beautiful weather condition it could be. Some other vloggers went in really bad weather condition (raining, foggy...) and obviously the view is terrible :D

I think all info is still on their website! Best to check there for updated costs but we paid 100k for the funicular and 750k for the cable car per person!

Hahah I can't recall how long it took us but spending 3 hours up there would fit well! There's a garden as soon as you get off the funicular that could be worth exploring too!

Hello Jordan and Emily, wonderful video! Question..... as far as COVID stuff, what has been your experience? I was in Vietnam in 2011 and it was wonderful, of course lots of tourists. I'm guessing there are much less tourists now because of COVID. The ride in the cable car thing seemed to be pretty much empty yes? Thanx! Todd
Everything definitely seems a bit quieter- hard for us to know for sure though because this was our first time in Vietnam!

We loved it! We went in late April and got super lucky with the weather 😄 the ride itself was pretty expensive, I think roughly $40 per person!

Depends how much hiking you want to do! We had two full days and got to explore Cat Cat Village and make our way up Fansipan ☺️
I watched all of your videos and found that both of them love cities with classical architecture, the next destination is Da Nang, on the mountain there is a miniature city with French architecture.visit bà nà hills nhé
This is one of the places we missed! 😟we have heard lots of recommendations about Da Nang and it will be right near the top of our list when we come back to Vietnam!

Wow we were there same time as you and the weather was garbage, completely covered in fog and like 16-17 degrees. I’ve been there 3 times and every time the weather has sucked. Love Sapa though!
Oh no! We are only realising now that we got super lucky with the weather! We are always hearing about travellers getting bad weather up there!

@@JordanandEmily How long would you put aside from the start of the trip up the mountain to when you came down in order to have a decent look? Assume I would do it exactly the same way you did. Enjoyed the video but I will take the ‘train’ all the way if I can see anything that is in October when I go. Thanks for interacting. It really makes a difference.
@@alc6799 tough question! It would depend on how fast you walk 😄 but the cable car and train wasn't very long, the walk probably took us 30-40 minutes so all in all I'd allow at least 2 hours to take your time on the way up and enjoy time at the top!

I been there on November last year, i was missed the Fanifang trip because the cable were under the maintenance, little bit disappointed but Sapa is so beaitiful place, i think you guys are missed a place call Rồng mây Bridge, that brigde is an incredible.

You guys went to Fansipan in the most beautiful weather condition it could be. Some other vloggers went in really bad weather condition (raining, foggy...) and obviously the view is terrible :D

Hahah I can't recall how long it took us but spending 3 hours up there would fit well! There's a garden as soon as you get off the funicular that could be worth exploring too!
