Love watching you work. It's like amsr for the eyes. But would also love to see before and after pictures of the alpacas and llamas. Please keep putting up the vids, love them!!
The rich brownish/reddish/cinnamon one was gorgeous. Please tell me the owners didn't throw it away. I know I asked you in a previous video what the owners do with the coats and you said they mostly throw them away because it is too expensive to process. I can understand throwing away the ones that are matted and neglected but those fresh soft pelts make great scarves and throws.. I have a soft off white scarf for the winter. I bought it at a county fair directly from the owner. If the owners are planning on throwing it away, maybe you should keep the pelts and when you have a good amount sell it to someone who can weave it into thread. But there has to be some way to do something useful with all that luxurious fur. It's such a shame to throw it away.
Find a spinners club. They would lose their happy minds with so much fleece to spin into yard. Yes, all of it would be beautiful woven, knitted, crocheted, felted into clothing and blankets.
All those beautiful colors underneath the outer scruffy layer! Too bad I am so allergic to wool and lanolin, LOL. You make the hard job of shearing look easy. Have wool will travel- :D
Ooh, same. I would love to jump right in there and lend a hand but SO allergic to most animal fibers/furs/fleece/hair/pelts. Not fair... I love watching Right Choice's flair with the animals though. Have a long happy career and marriage, you two.
For some reason, Oprah came into my head yelling, "You get a shear. You get a shear and YOU get a shear! Everybody gets a shear!" (Alpacas start going nuts, clapping their hooves...)
First few fleeces were utterly gorgeous,so wanted to squish them and cry 'my precious '. Being too poor to buy ready made alpaca yarns, I drop spun, knit and smile. If owners don't want them send them my way please, pass the hum of contentment into a Midwest winter
Please share how and why you got into shearing. I would love to hear your backstory if you wouldn’t mind sharing some with us. You two are absolutely fascinating. Best wishes!
you might get a chuckle out of this...a while back, I had a black rubber/fiber bucket that came off of an Alpaca farm. I used to refer to it as the "i'll pack a lunch bucket" as it was used for feeding alpacas.
Have you ever thought how long you can do it. I mean one day you should retire . What kind of job over 50 you want to do it. You are excellent in this job.
A close up of the shears. There seems to be a bottom guide to glide the clippers above the flesh?? What stops them from getting clogged with fur fluff or dirt?
Are alpacas always shorn lying down and lamas standing? I mean I can imagine its quite hard to get a lama to lie down but i’ve never seen an alpaca shorn standing and I was just wondering why since they are so similar looking but smaller.
Se o animal recebe todos os cuidados e tratado com amor, carinho e gratidão, só é pelado no calor e não traz sofrimento pro animal, eu não sou contra. Sou contra matar, explorar ou maltratar os animais.
I don't mean to seem stupid, but why are you only clipping the middle? In other vids you clip necks, legs and hips on 'pacas. What's different this time? And won't the unshorn parts get matted? Just trying to learn and understand.
Alpacas have fiber all over. Their faces and legs down to their feet need to be shorn. Those are really sensitive areas where a lot could go wrong. Restraint is for their safety. ☺️🤘🏻
It's so beautiful to watch the fleece roll off but I selfishly missed your hysterical narrations
COMING SOON 🤘🏼
Same here. I love Katie’s narrations. I particularly liked the deep brown one at the end. So so pretty.
Ikr? Lol. Her sense of humor just rocks!
The narration is everything lol. Without the narration it's just a satisfying video :)
@@rightchoiceshearing nooooo keep it like this
I love watching you shear, the animals never seem upset with you and you treat them with so much kindness and respect. Thank you! 💖
Yes I noticed that calm . probably used to it now !!
She is definitely the llama and sheep whisperer, they all seem to love her, keep up the sweet work!
I think most of them are Dead. I hope i am wrong but there is no breathing you can't see anything.
You make it look so easy. I know it isn’t but the way their blanket falls is mesmerizing.
I love when you are shearing along on a seemingly one-colored animal and then, BAM!! Adorable spot! 😁
You are very beautiful
It's so soft that my eyes can feel how soft it is
She just puts the animals in a beautiful peaceful trance and her voice when she talks through most videos puts me in a trance!!
WOW!!! The ASMR I didn't know I needed. Seriously drifting off. Your content is always perfection. Thank you!!!
That's gotta be some of the easiest and cleanest mowing I've seen. That fiber rolled off like a dream.
One whole fleece!! Right before the red one.. that was soo cool. For self taught, you should be proud. Never a knick, perfect rolls. 🥰
Thanks so much! 😊
How wonderful to see the shearing from your perspective. The animals are so beautiful and their blanket fiber so luxurious . Thank you for sharing.
Watching this video is so very relaxing from a stressful day it actually puts me to sleep 😴 any one else feel that way?
me too!
Total Zen!
Perfect for counting sheep's! 😴
You are so great at this. It's like watching someone cutting a cube of butter!
I miss your voice
Memorizing. The light catching the clean fresh blanket. The cinnamon and silver really appeal to my spinner's hands.
Made me want to get out my knitting needles.
I watch you shearing almost every day and the way you articulate on the subject is so interesting I absolutely love it...
I love your usual commentary and it was nice to hear the hum of the clippers on this video as a switch-up.
Love watching you work. It's like amsr for the eyes. But would also love to see before and after pictures of the alpacas and llamas. Please keep putting up the vids, love them!!
I like how you get spots like a surprise, especially the black ones.

Totally agree.
This video made me forget where I was for a second, so satisfying
Love your ink, looks really dramatic against the light blanket!,
You have amazing skills! 🏆

🤣🤣🤣 💇♂️🦙💇♀️🦙 🥳🥳🥳👍
I love watching how you shear the animals. You do it so well and perfect😍
So beautiful and soft looking!! Great video love watching this!! Thanks😇
Wow their fur is just beautiful
I love your videos great demeanor, you and your wife are so beautiful, hats off for both of you!
So satisfying. Watching in my lunchbreak to relax.
You are a true blessing to these beautiful creatures!
Just beautiful. Makes me want to curl up under a blanket 😊 Have a blessed weekend 💜 🙏 ✌️ 🌞💐🎶
Love the full videos rather than one minute ones.
First few fleeces were utterly gorgeous,so wanted to squish them and cry 'my precious '. Being too poor to buy ready made alpaca yarns, I drop spun, knit and smile. If owners don't want them send them my way please, pass the hum of contentment into a Midwest winter
Im amazed at how calm they are
Hi. Love your videos. I have a question. How many sheep, alpacas, and lamas, can you shear, before your razor needs to be resharpened?
Depends on how dirty they are. I get about 5 llamas to a set of blades ☺️
This was so satisfying ... remember to stay safe and stay blessed
It’s so relaxing to watch!!!
it really is deeply satisfying to watch it all fall off! Great video
Please share how and why you got into shearing. I would love to hear your backstory if you wouldn’t mind sharing some with us. You two are absolutely fascinating. Best wishes!
You could do this in your sleep huh? Such a joy to watch.
I love watching y’all shear them, not sure why 🤔 oh well 😁 love y’all’s videos 👍😎👍💜
im addicted to these videos lol i need more😅
Bonjour. I"m french. Yes it is satisfying to see your work. And I enjoy see you too ☺️🤘
Watching your videos always makes me want to shave my dog. My bald Yorkie thanks you. ;-)

Смотря на эту красоту - так хочется примерить эту шубу на себя. 😄
Totally satisfying!!!!
I would love to have some of this fleece to work with at home just to see how much work goes into fibers.
It seems that it would be difficult to spin.
Girl, you do good work.
If only their blankets were clean coming directly off them they look so cozy and warm
Its so zen watching you shearing. Question for ya, why to you restrain the alpaca and only tie up the Llama?
I know youre not supposed to wash these but damn I'd love to give them a bath after to see how pretty their colors truly are! lol
Such georgous fleece❣️
Such healthy fleece
Oh I could fall asleep to this! 🥰
oh i see different ones well the first alpaca was soothing. either way kudos
It’s beautiful 🤩
Literally 11 seconds in, sooooooo satisfying
Beautiful. I want one🙌. They are cute too ❤
That is so beautiful. Is it as soft as it looks?
Great to watch!
Wow, the brown ones look like chocolate ice-cream being scooped for a cone. I must be hungry 😃.
I’m working on a way to create that same effect (blanket) in crewel embroidery! 😍
You ladies are a great team
Would love to see more angora goats shorn. They are so beautiful.
Great job Katie
I just wanna bury my face in all that delicious fleece. OMG
عمل جيد انا احب هذا العمل ومن المعجبين بك وبعملك
love ur narrating and singing to ur sheep. ur a hoot! also do u go to school to learn this shearing ? it's amazing !
You can go to a school for it or learn in an apprenticeship
@@rightchoiceshearing i see... thank u!
Какая шикарная машинка👍
That was Beautiful.
Thank you, 👍🏼👏🏼🍀🍀🍀❤️🇺🇸
That is a lot of fur! Bet it was cold afterwards 🤣
Are the animals sedated? Or just naturally docile (and super comfortable with your shearing)?
They aren’t sedated, but some are restrained. If they wanted to fight, you’d be able to see that for sure. They are relaxed and just vibing 💕🤘🏻
Question: what do you or the owners do with the alpaca fleece once cut?
Want to see them after shaving.😊
Have you ever thought how long you can do it. I mean one day you should retire . What kind of job over 50 you want to do it. You are excellent in this job.
They’re so fluffy I’m gonna die! 😂…Agnes from despicable Me lol
I don't like the compilations of just the belly, it's more satisfying for me to watch the alpaca's be fully sheered.
A close up of the shears. There seems to be a bottom guide to glide the clippers above the flesh?? What stops them from getting clogged with fur fluff or dirt?
Are alpacas always shorn lying down and lamas standing? I mean I can imagine its quite hard to get a lama to lie down but i’ve never seen an alpaca shorn standing and I was just wondering why since they are so similar looking but smaller.
that was relaxing
took me way too long to realize this was not all one really big alpaca (i am so tired)
An idea, why don't you put your go pro camera on top of the shearing machine?
I miss the commentary. The fur looks so luxurious. So sad to be allergic...😥
Fantastic
Se o animal recebe todos os cuidados e tratado com amor, carinho e gratidão, só é pelado no calor e não traz sofrimento pro animal, eu não sou contra. Sou contra matar, explorar ou maltratar os animais.
It looks like a lot of streaks of wool are still left on them. Is that okay
Love to see you shear! But pls, your intros & narratives also need to be included. You've a good groove going on...pls don't change (much).
Question is it the clipper or the wool why it doesn't look even/leveled?
When you start at the belly, and have a drop cloth, is that for wool that will be spun? Or some other reason to start at the belly?
yes! the cloth is so it can be transported as one whole unit!
I want to try 👍👍👍
How did you get stock to learn on?
Do you sell the furr?
I don't mean to seem stupid, but why are you only clipping the middle? In other vids you clip necks, legs and hips on 'pacas. What's different this time? And won't the unshorn parts get matted? Just trying to learn and understand.
Are alpacas easier to sheer than sheep?
This is probably for the ASMR crowd.
The animals either dead or knocked out because I've never seen anything sheared that does not move at all
Why does she shear some of them lying down and others standing up?
Why are alpacas tied down, but not lamas?
Alpacas have fiber all over. Their faces and legs down to their feet need to be shorn. Those are really sensitive areas where a lot could go wrong. Restraint is for their safety. ☺️🤘🏻
@@rightchoiceshearing thank you!
Que satisfatório
