Uncharted 4 is still a technical masterpiece. Graphics isn't just about how a game looks, it's also how a game behaves. No other game has the same good physics and lifelike gameplay animations that U4 has.
Games now are so beautiful, doesn't matter what resolution and what platform. Horizon zero Dawn, Uncharted, Tomb Raider, cod, Battlefield, halo 5, Sunset Overdrive, Quantum break, Zelda, and so much more. All beautiful games, all great games.

I was a little late to the game on this, but finally played this (in 2021). I think it’s the best looking game I’ve ever played. The pure / raw visual power isn’t as strong as something like RE 8 or Miles Morales, (or God War from PS4), but the mix of art direction, lighting, and straight visuals themselves, it’s stunning. Also having played this 4 years after U4, it was also a blast to jump into the typical uncharted gameplay again.

Just let people play whatever and however they want without tossing insults. There are pros and cons to consoles and PCs.

But if you've actually experienced 60 FPS and stay at it for a longer period of time with a huge selection of of games, you'll notice the difference and how the frame rate can effect your gameplay. When I played GTA V back when I was a console gamer on Ps4, I wasn't really playing as well as I'am now since the the game on ps4 runs at 30 FPS. When I built my PC around a year and a half ago, and bought GTA V on the PC and played it at 60 fps, my skill gap rose and got higher, I was having a better experience with the bigger graphic fidelity and frame rate and was actually able to win races due to having faster reaction times while staying at or above 60 FPS. My driving is way better on PC then it is on PS4 and my friend who has been a console player all his life hooked up a PS4 controller to my PC, and even he said that it felt like a whole new game and his driving and shooting skills rose.

I much prefer 60, but at the end of the day games such as Horizon and Uncharted are only available at 30 fps (aside from remastered versions years down the line) and I'm not going to miss out on those games simply because they don't feel as good as they would if they were running at 60 fps.
I'm really going to enjoy this game since Chloe has always been my favorite uncharted character, here's hoping for more Chloe (and elena) in the next entry.

It's gonna be cluttered with microtransactions. As the reviews all stated this game doesn't feel so original. It's very quaint feeling like they just used resources from Uncharted 4 perhaps why it was given away with the season pass. Just feels too much like 4 rather than its own game.
And I'm just sitting here... Wishing PS4 Pro games would just let me run native 1080p without antialiasing without up/downsampling. I prefer my jaggies over the vaseline smear and minor frame rate issues, because I'm a wierdo I guess.

Darnell Phillips Console is great, easy to use simple UI and a great selection of great games. The only thing I think is a problem is the noise of the fans.. it's very, very noisy. if you don't have your TV/surround sound cranked up it will annoy the hell out of you

Tbh the only reason I don't move completely to PC is sonys exclusives like this, I've yet to see such a good looking game as uncharted on PC. I play Rise of the TR on PC at 21:9 1440p/60fps. It looks great, but no, it's not as visually impressive as Uncharted 4/TLL on PS4 Pro. The two things I would attribute to this are RotTR's poor anti-aliasing solution and somewhat janky animation. You need to play both to make a proper comparison. If those two things were improved, RotTR would still be slightly less impressive as Naughty Dog is just that fucking good.

I like 60fps too but I don't agree with the statement that it makes every game better, it's more of a case by case basis. You can have a 30fps game that looks incredibly fluid and smooth, DmC last gen, force unleashed 2, splitsecond and PURE are great examples of getting this right while still being a great, fastpace game. Overall all consoles go through the process of ageing, as everything does. Devs set limiters and prioritise different things tech wise, and if it isn't that it's often budget. It's okay if you like 60fps+ then you'll always want invest with top of the line PC hardware, but many like myself are content with having a stable, polished experience on consoles cycles before needing to upgrade. MGSV is nice yes but I think many of the fans would have comprised to 30fps for that game and less gameplay options if it meant for a more complete product and ending. A recent example is Yakuza 0/Kiwami. I played the PS3 games not long ago and playing the newer entries that use the PS3 engine on PS4 is beautiful because you then see the games running 1080p/60fps. However in order to innovate and offer something new you have to leverage the hardware and focus on improving experience, gameplay, expanding the narrative etc. Yakuza 6 achieves this by operating at 900p/30fps but you now gain a proper physics engine, no loading, beautiful effects, object density etc. Everything's a trade off in the end, especially regarding consoles (and PC's until they are upgraded or built new from scratch). For me personally, i'd rather see the game aiming for strive for more impressive features/innovations than just focusing on raw technical performance, which is only ever one aspect to me for what makes a game good.

DINGO! Downsampling (from 1440p to 1080p) makes the game sharper than native 1080p without AA.

I like 60fps too but I don't agree with the statement that it makes every game better, it's more of a case by case basis. You can have a 30fps game that looks incredibly fluid and smooth, DmC last gen, force unleashed 2, splitsecond and PURE are great examples of getting this right while still being a great, fastpace game. Overall all consoles go through the process of ageing, as everything does. Devs set limiters and prioritise different things tech wise, and if it isn't that it's often budget. It's okay if you like 60fps+ then you'll always want invest with top of the line PC hardware, but many like myself are content with having a stable, polished experience on consoles cycles before needing to upgrade. MGSV is nice yes but I think many of the fans would have comprised to 30fps for that game and less gameplay options if it meant for a more complete product and ending.
A recent example is Yakuza 0/Kiwami. I played the PS3 games not long ago and playing the newer entries that use the PS3 engine on PS4 is beautiful because you then see the games running 1080p/60fps. However in order to innovate and offer something new you have to leverage the hardware and focus on improving experience, gameplay, expanding the narrative etc. Yakuza 6 achieves this by operating at 900p/30fps but you now gain a proper physics engine, no loading, beautiful effects, object density etc. Everything's a trade off in the end, especially regarding consoles (and PC's until they are upgraded or built new from scratch).
For me personally, i'd rather see the game aiming for strive for more impressive features/innovations than just focusing on raw technical performance, which is only ever one aspect to me for what makes a game good.
