  • You should always know how much current your test light carries.

question about testing 5v computer circuit.
what if i hooked typical incandescent test light to a 5v source to test 5v ref and computer parts that take 5v by getting a 12v to 5v usb cigareete plug adapter, then cut a usb cord and plug this into the 12v to 5v adapter and find which wire is the power/ground and use this to hook test light when probing these 5v computer circuits? this would also drop some of the amperage draw from test light correct? would this be the way to go?

Hey Roman are there really that many haters? I like that you show us what stuff is professional grade wherever it's made. I'm working in an auto shop and I've been using the harbor freight professional impact sockets. I've been beating the s*** out of them every day and they been holding up great. I used a lot of your information equipping myself and it has helped. Try not to let people make you crazy. Stand tall man the government sold us out a long time ago not people like us. Once they started free trade agreements with countries that have no living standards it was all over. When there is a good American made alternative we buy it most of the time there isn't. Peace out.

For all the DIYers out there... This is a warning to all who dare to use a cheap test light : Don't do it all cheap test lights WILL F$#@ up your computers. "Innova Smart Test Light"...(about $12) stay away from it. You can go probing around and end up costing you $300 for a new Multiplex. You have to be a real mechainic and spend more for a REAL SAFE one. DONT BE FOOLED BY CORP.(s) THAT WANT YOU TO LOOSE AND SPEND MORE OF YOUR HARD EARNED MOO-LA! THEY WANT THE RICH RICH AND THE POOR POOR

When I say I will make thousands of videos, I am not lying. You give me too much credit brother, but I appreciate your support. Truth is, I'm dead tired when I make these videos.

Na, I'm not giving too much credit. Just credit that you're making whatever videos you want. And even basic videos are good videos. I keep telling myself I am going to start making videos, but I just don't. And I don't know why. I'm wanting to get video camera glasses so I can make videos at work (Kia).

I just bought a Tek test-light from Walmart for about 5-bucks. It has a red and green LED for pos/neg indicator......and the LEDs are small and current-limited with a resistor

American car makers only have American name plates but with lots of Asian parts, this has been goin on for decades the American public is living in a fantasy world, its called business.

Did you ever say how much current will damage a computer? Also Ive found 5 dollar multimeters to be unreliable and give different readings every time. Of course I could have been unlucky enough to buy a bad one.
