I can just imagine Bill's kids in the future describing why they have trust issues because their dad was constantly breaking their toys and filming it to satisfy the internet masses. And I support this. Feed my viewing addiction mwahaha
"Old parts of spacecraft." This single line prompted this huge train of thought about making a spaceport with hover vehicles and ships, and buildings and stuff, out of one of those cat trees. Multi-tiered spaceport diorama. Go!
Personally, I like both edit styles. I do really like the longer more in depth camera angles, transitions, and music you usually do, but I feel the time lapse approach was also really tastefully done. If doing videos that way saves you time and stress, then I am all for time lapse builds. Keep up the amazing work Mr. Making Stuff!
12:58 The special effects in this video are amazing. It really looks like "Dan" and "Bill" are in the same room together. I'm surprised at how spacious Salute is. It almost looks bearable for a misanthrope like me. What a fun video and build.
Sad to hear the Bangarang video isn't doing so hot. My wife, 2 sons, and I have been scratch building our bots all week. Our kitchen table is covered in random beads, super glue, and random bits so we have been eating meals on the floor or at the sink in shifts. We can't wait to get them painted up and get some games in!
Mate that sketch book needs posting to Studio Ghibli and turning into an animated feature that will tickle your brain balls to bits! Love the time lapse. Hope the gooey eye heals on the wonk - be funny that. Stay cool! 👏👏👏
I liked the bare bones Bill video, felt like an extended story time which itself is fantastic. It kind of dawned on me while listening to this, it's like you're reading us bedtime stories. They're kinda comforting in a way. So thanks for those. I'd be happy if future videos were this format, especially at times where things might be overwhelming. Stress less and knock out a quickie like this. Give us more lore 👍
Nicely done Bill. The lore is always a delight. You do such a great job and hopefully you'll make like a historia book cataloging all your wonderful content.
I would like to think that any body of water in the Gutterlands is like the river in Ankh Morpork and has a crust of junk completely covering it. Thick enough for rusters to walk across but anything big will sink straight through.
When cat was missing, I really thought that he was going to turn up on the sidelines of other crafter videos! North, Steady, Towan, Studson, Boyli as a few❤!
This is brilliant Bill, love the build and can absolutely see why it officially won the 100% official competition! Also, it was awesome to meet you at Salute!
I saw you as I was arriving but you were clearly going somewhere in a hurry, and I thought I'd find you later (but then didn't manage to). Hope you had fun at Salute.
This was such a fantastic one day build! Love all the sea shell/sort of barnacle details you put on the back, they created such a great texture! Don't get me wrong, I get excited to see all of your videos, but I always look forward to your terrain pieces so much. Wonderful as usual!
This is the first time I saw Bill and Dan in the same shot. I kept thinking what if it's really just a second channel of Bill's. Like how you never see Bruce Wayne and Batman in the same room together. Conspiracy theory busted. Awesome video Bill keep up the amazing work!
The Crooked Strait made me smile. I love your sense of humor. I love this...in fact I might try and replicate this in Minecraft. I once made a lighthouse housed within the bow of a galleon and an upside-down pirate ship house. Making stuff like this in Minecraft is kind of my version of doing this just in a game instead of in real life.
I really, really love the build. I think it's the shape, the silhouette of it that captured my interest. I love the pirate theme too, the shells and coral gave off a really amazing texture detail : D
I like the change of format with the time lapse. I think that sometimes you pros get so good at producing a clean, tidy video that your actual craftsmanship and the messiness of the process get a bit lost. The curated experience is nice, but it’s good to see the real thing too 😊
That was the most entertaining time-lapse ever, mainly because it was story time too 😁 "..drowned to death" - classic. Is it just me who got Spongebob vibes from Captin Charron's story, and the Goodle Shack? Episode 81 and I'm only three episodes in, that's my terrain building downtime sorted next week )O(
I really don’t mind the timelapse, though I’d like to see more details of the process of this excellent build. I can’t say I miss the elaborate editing, could take it or leave it
It was cool running into you and Dan at Salute. I saw you walking around with the eyepatch on too and probably should have ducked so I didn't appear in the background but hey ho.
In case your eye doesnt grow back in time, you can make some prostethics like the one in Waterworld, that 100-year old movie with Kevin Costner, Capt Holt's husband.
Buddybill! It's your humor, craftsmanship, editing, just genuine love for (content)creating that makes me look forward to every single episode again and again. Timelapse or not. Your general outstanding quality and knack for overarching storytelling (not just within episodes but as a whole channel) is honestly brilliant. One of the best. As an illustrator/animator myself I salute you. I know how TH-cam and algorithms make you feel like certain ways are less fruiiitious. Froutitious? I mean, don't sweat it. As long as you keep just one sharp eye out (;]) for why you love what you're doing I'll keep gobbling your content.
It was lovely to see the 52 sticker there. He has a different subject focus than you, but I feel your video style has influenced his for the better, and it really does help him stand out in that crowded field. You of course have cat, and that does make it an unequal comparison.
Not going to lie, seeing my name in the patron list brought a smile to my face. What? oh yeah, the build bit was good too, but that end screen.. dopamine hit!
Thanks for the sticker Dan, I mean Bill.. The shack looked really good in person especially for a one day build, the light was a great touch! Too bad about the accident!
I want to thank you. You're a great inspiration to me personally. I don't want to bore you with details. But please know you're doing good things. So thank you very much, Bill. Side note: just received my Bangarang in the Gutterlands books. I got two for good measure. I'm very happy with them.
Also I would love to try Goodles, yet another reason to visit Respite when I have the money! I sure hope tragedy doesn't befall me and I become a strange background bit of lore in Respite. "That statue of someone eating Goodles is actually a petrified tourist who had way too many - true story!"
The time lapse with extended storytime os fantastic. The only thing I would suggest is add little handwritten text overlays with an arrow, poonting to a new bit that you just added, and tell us something about it like, "this is a yogurt container." or, "this is floral wire." Kind of like, if we read along, we will get the ingredients to the secret recipe.
Your work is always wonderful. I try to figure out how you can possibly put random stuff together and make something cool, and you finish strong every time. Well done!
Nothing wrong with a time lapse if it helps you avoid burnout and stress! Didn't effect the quality of the video in the slightest! Plus it leaves more room for the lore which is a bonus 💪 In future it could be worth using wider shots so we can see all the action, and maybe adding in a few normal speed shots so we can get a better visual of the progress being made! But I don't know shit about filming so take it with a pinch of salt and all that lmao Wish I could hop on the patreon but I'm broke 🙃 love the vids tho! Wana get playing bangerang soon too!
I love your content, and I love you. Truly inspirational stuff, and style! Of all the channels I subscribe to and watch, you sir are by far, FAR the most entertaining.❤️
The time lapse wasn't bad at all. And your build definitely won, they were just too ashamed of losing to admit it. 😜 It is a excellent piece of terrain. Everything is perfect. Those barnacles are flawless. 😍
watched the full battle report. It was fun watching something you developed on here and talked about it and the rules come to full playable with great animation.
You never fail to make me laugh, Bill. However you find making videos is best for you, I would watch, as long as it had your brilliant humour throughout!
Its a shame your Bangarang Vid didn't go too well. I think its an excellent visual tutorial for how to play. But maybe thats because people have Banga-burn out. Whatever you make Bill, it's brilliant and the editing is incredible.

I'm surprised at how spacious Salute is. It almost looks bearable for a misanthrope like me.
What a fun video and build.
Shows how cheap and easy A.I. is if Bill's using it....... Though he may have needed help from Cat.....
9:34 the transition from someone dying a horrible death to cheerful music is amazing
Sad to hear the Bangarang video isn't doing so hot. My wife, 2 sons, and I have been scratch building our bots all week. I got a kick out of the Bangarang report. But then again I like all the videos on this channel, so there's that. Also, Cat is pretty cool.
Yeah, I'm surprised it didn't pull in the punters. It seemed like a perfect summation of Bill's Stuff Making.
You are brilliant, Bill! You see things in the trash that are invisible to me. Thanks for showing us all!
I liked the bare bones Bill video, felt like an extended story time which itself is fantastic.

"Crooked Strait" is a great name!
Ooh this is exciting! I know you've hinted at wanting to explore the ocean in the gutterlands before, ao seeing this is nice!
Good to see your feud with the post office is still alive and strong, Bill.
I can't believe someone was bold enough to bring a dismembered cat to the convention.
When cat was missing, I really thought that he was going to turn up on the sidelines of other crafter videos! North, Steady, Towan, Studson, Boyli as a few❤!
This is brilliant Bill, love the build and can absolutely see why it officially won the 100% official competition!

You too!

That twist threw my high ass for a LOOP.
This is the first time I saw Bill and Dan in the same shot. I kept thinking what if it's really just a second channel of Bill's. Like how you never see Bruce Wayne and Batman in the same room together. Conspiracy theory busted. Awesome video Bill keep up the amazing work!
12:35
I give my life
Not for honor, but for you
Snake eater!
Lmao underrated comment
I think cat is insane sometimes when he talks to you because when you say leave when he says something very bad, I find it funny😅
Braindead??
Lmao or the post office. I love this build and the story! Definitely one of my new favs. Glad you definitely won the real contest! You deserved it!
Glad you enjoyed!

I quite liked the time lapse... it's a nice change-up to pop in occasionally. Plus it seems much easier on you, editing and all that.
I like the change of format with the time lapse. I think that sometimes you pros get so good at producing a clean, tidy video that your actual craftsmanship and the messiness of the process get a bit lost. The curated experience is nice, but it’s good to see the real thing too 😊
Yo-ho-ho, old sea wolf Billy the Beadbeard, in our eyes you are always a winner, you boarded this exhibition and captured many trophies.
I wish you’d filmed yourself taking the backing off of each of those stickers. That would’ve been really satisfying.
I loved the Timelapse! Yes more please. I love seeing your universe come to live.
I get a bit of a Pirates of The Caribbean meets One Piece vibe of both the lore and the build. Cool stuff as always.
Time lapse was fine🤷♀️ more story time? Can't complain about that😍
Love the time lapse style! Could work well with some quick real time segments sprinkled in?
That was the most entertaining time-lapse ever, mainly because it was story time too 😁 "..drowned to death" - classic. Is it just me who got Spongebob vibes from Captin Charron's story, and the Goodle Shack? Episode 81 and I'm only three episodes in, that's my terrain building downtime sorted next week )O(
Damn! The Bill's being invited everywhere! It must be great to be a rockstar...
I really don’t mind the timelapse, though I’d like to see more details of the process of this excellent build. I can’t say I miss the elaborate editing, could take it or leave it
Time lapse is good too !
I'm so glad you won ! Congratulations ! : )
Good to see your back building stuff. Wishing you much success with bangarang.
Beautiful build! I love the shells!
Go watch the battle report you lot! It's cool, it's got neat lil animations!!!
It was cool running into you and Dan at Salute. I saw you walking around with the eyepatch on too and probably should have ducked so I didn't appear in the background but hey ho.

Bro when the guy told you it wasn't a competition and you said "why the f#$% did I do this" I laughed so hard I started crying. Thank you. 😂
Your sticker arrangement is very pleasing, thank u
Buddybill! It's your humor, craftsmanship, editing, just genuine love for (content)creating that makes me look forward to every single episode again and again. Timelapse or not. If there would've been a competition there wouldn't have. Clear winner build, Bill

That sketchbook ….life goals
Man everything you made its super inspiring and beautiful. Awesome !
I enjoyed the heck outta the Bangarang playthrough, btw!
Thanks for the sticker Dan, I mean Bill..
The shack looked really good in person especially for a one day build, the light was a great touch! Too bad about the accident!

well thanks
Proud to say I watched the bangarang report without needing to be prompted! Always excited to see your projects!
Nothing wrong with a good ol' timelapse Bill! Always love seeing another addition to Respite, love the lore.
“Well begun is half done.” So, yes, Bill. Someone did say that.
Very goodle Don't worry about your draw it's pretty fantastic thumbs up. Bang that rang
That was some cool trick photography having your Dan Does character in the background of a shot of your Bill Making Stuff character.
Great video. i watch loads of terrain pieces but very little on monsterish restaurants and this gave me loads of inspo!
Nothing wrong with a time lapse if it helps you avoid burnout and stress! Didn't effect the quality of the video in the slightest! Plus it leaves more room for the lore which is a bonus 💪

Why not rebuild cat as a bang-a-rang bot? I mean, he’s a bit of a wreck in need of some maintenance and maybe upgrades.
Big up that Locklips Madball in the front in the intro, one of my favourite toys as a kid 🔥
I have to say, as an artist, your sketchbook is very impressive. You should seriously consider publishing it once it's filled out.
I love your content, and I love you. Truly inspirational stuff, and style!
Of all the channels I subscribe to and watch, you sir are by far, FAR the most entertaining.❤️
Those panning time-lapses always make me think someone’s camera stand is very slowly falling over. Someone buy Bill a working tripod!
Bill I just want you to know, I'm proud of you. Seeing where you came from. You have exceeded all expectations
The time lapse wasn't bad at all. And your build definitely won, they were just too ashamed of losing to admit it. 😜
It is a excellent piece of terrain. Everything is perfect. Those barnacles are flawless. 😍
Ok genius story telling. The competition twist cracked me up
Bill did punch me after the camera cut, and that's more than fair
you could say you punched yourself, with my fist
looks like the sketch book is almost full...
watched the full battle report. It was fun watching something you developed on here and talked about it and the rules come to full playable with great animation.
It’s so nice to see my favorite character on the bill making stuff channel cat back
The timelapse was great and I think they are a great way to show off your builds. Awesome video as always!
This is Epic!!! well done!!
Can confirm eyes do grow back. Just eat enough carrots.
Great vid Bill. Love the Goodle shop and the story 😊
Congratulations on winning the not-a-contest, Bill!
Xuron and Godhand are the only clipers a carry at my store so good pick!
I'm off to get me oodles of some of them good looking goodles!
Love the builds would like to see some more Gaslands car/ terrain builds
I like time lapse, but I'm a silly American.
Hey if your eye doesn't grow back, just use one of the eyes in the magnetic spice jar.
I'm happy that this video exists, and I look forward to the return of your usual exquisite editing style in the next episode.
I watched the report Bill, it was lovely. Thank you for sharing the game with us.
Yellow cube is wombat droppings. 100%
That was a quality job, looked really great.
In regards to drawing beforehand - reference the "tale of the two lumberjacks"
edit: is that Rogue hobbies "whooo'ing" you at 16:23 ?
This has got to be one of my all time favorite of your terrain builds!
Fantastic job!
Need to see more terrain builds! You’re so talented! Great work Billy Boop😎
Very good! congratulations from Brazil!
Great video as always. Made me lough, I needed it, thank you. Thumb up from me 👍🏻
You never fail to make me laugh, Bill. However you find making videos is best for you, I would watch, as long as it had your brilliant humour throughout!
Amazing work for a one day build, always love how creative the lore is behind the builds.
I liked this style of video, I'd definitely be keen to see more of it. Also, adding real shells to the build was a great choice.
Thank you for teaching me how to pronounce Charon. 😊
Its a shame your Bangarang Vid didn't go too well. I think its an excellent visual tutorial for how to play. But maybe thats because people have Banga-burn out. Whatever you make Bill, it's brilliant and the editing is incredible.
