Thanks to Floating Points, Max Cooper, Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Bicep, and other artists that push boundaries of drum music, progressive influences, techno influence, idm, you make this world beautiful
This is a total masterpiece just the flow and transitions and sounds are just perfect. Its crazy how floating points creates so many feelings and tells and full story in a single tune. 10/10
GrandMASTA BushidoBrown no offence taken ;) i love the track! Bought it on vinyl after hearing it for the first time. & I always play it from start to finish.
the original track features a spectacular drop that sounds great on big hi-fi setup, but it's too short. This one extends and evolves so nicely. Great job!
SO GOOOOOD. should not box this type of music born into our new era but definitely, I consider this album a part of my mental progression into the new age of humankind and evolution, both from different sides of reality.
Is it minimal? Is it drum and bass? NO! It's fucking awesome! Keep it up mate this is by far the best track I ever heard man. I wish I was able to do this kind of fire music
fine representation of sophistication and sound engineering yet it does not lose its traction from senses and emotions. Apart from these, I have not seen this good of redux usages in electronic music. Pleases every pleasure that a music can grant. he is a decent composer and musician without a doubt.
Bizarrely I was listening to this whilst another video was going (unknowingly) on in the background and thought it was one song; it was a report of the minneapolis riots and they seemed to work very well together...
The video attached reminds me of an artist friend of mine. He would be smoking ganja, and stirring his paint colors. All of a sudden he would trip out on the "beautiful patterns" and wouldn't want to actually touch the paint because he didn't want to spoil the patterns. He tried capturing this by placing paper etc. across the surface but was unsuccessful...
Marbllng is a great technique, love Roger Dean''s marblling and cutting out forms to paint around. Yes album covers, Osibisa, and others, have a big coffee table book somewhere of Dean illustrations, from the 70s
Makes me think of swirl guitar finishes.. maybe you can show your friend (just TH-cam swirl guitar finish) the paint sticks to the guitar with the marbled effect is dope
Thanks to Floating Points, Max Cooper, Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Bicep, and other artists that push boundaries of drum music, progressive influences, techno influence, idm, you make this world beautiful
Add Rival Consoles to that list
And Burial
This song changed my life, honestly one of the most breathtaking experiences when you’re listening on crazy speakers
ah yes.. "crazy speakers"... =P
Ah fuck I need to experience it like that!
first thing I'm doing once I get a good system

Hi, neighbour here. Could you please stop waking up the entire town with your hifi, thanks.
The sound @ 7:04 is amazing. big and layered, somewhat dissonant but still beautiful
When you think the song can't get any better.. but it just keeps on giving
This version should just be standard on the album. incredible work dude
His best works aren't on albums imo
@@23bit76 crush was pretty incredible
Freddie it was but if you listen to his resident advisor performance the live spins he puts on his tracks just take them to the next level!

Finally, an electronic artist that can stand on the shoulders of giants like AFX and Squarepusher. This is brilliant. Very late 1990s.
@@Black-xx2ft Aphex has so many names: AFX is one of them.
@About Blank ohh shit, i don't idea of that name hahaha
I dont quite believe sam would agree that he is even close to the likes of richard... But that is a really nice compliment 😃
Exactly what i was thinking, mixing those squarepusher/aphex sounds in this mix really nice
Feels like London in the early 2000s. This and chunky funky disco house were such a great time.
Can we appreciate the fact that they actually mic'd the set? Mad.
The 5:00 min mark is really where all the fun & mayhem introduces itself & also lays down that mellow vibe. Going hard & soft at the same time! ♥️❤️
Eh, u kinda miss some of the fun before 5:00. 4:56 is a better timestamp (no offense by any means).
GrandMASTA BushidoBrown no offence taken ;) i love the track! Bought it on vinyl after hearing it for the first time. & I always play it from start to finish.
It actually kinda build the momentum till 5:00 then suddenly boom!
There is always something special and unique in these tunes...
You know who it is when you close your eyes.
I honestly just can't get enough of this
it takes balls to wait 2 full minutes before letting the drums have some treble. I love the anticipation it builds
This track just keeps on building! It’s the white rabbit of idm ❤️
Lol I love the anticipation too but to say that it "takes balls" seems like a stretch. 😂
Just requires an audience with appreciation and patience!
@@atohms this is not EDM, which is a fake bullshit genre anyway

7:23 oh my god that bass is so GOOD
I shat my pants the first time i heard that
an effective, yet basic use of turbulent displace. nice. this track is awesome, as well.
what is turbulent displace? you mean visually speaking?
Is that what is happening to the oil on the screen?
Yes, I think he's referring to a function in Adobe After Effects
I was there! Possibly one of the greatest moments I've seen live, goosebumps.

Just when I thought this track couldn't possibly be better....
Absolutely colossal tune. Towering mammoth of a filthy banger. Art, in other words.
