Aw, you are too sweet. Don't we all try hard to be better "Moms" myself included. I have come to the liberating realization that there are no perfect Mom days, just perfect Mom Moments :) Yes I am long overdue for a simple cupcake recipe, I promise to get to that! Keep up the good work, all moms try the best they can, & at the end of the day all our kids really need is our love and attention, it goes so far ! :) xo
Beth you are so amazing, but also humble. I have watched this video several times, I can't wait to make it. It's simple enough, but still impressive. Love this. Trust me all my friends are also going to start using entertaining with Beth! Love this channel.
Oh YES! This I am definitely going to try. I loved Paris, and when I was there in 2000, I had a pastry in every patisserie I passed!!! I never had pot de creme....just had heard of it and need to make it with your recipe. Love you, Beth!
LOL! You're too funny! This one is a serious drooler! The video just doesn't do it justice! You MUST try it :) You'll either love me or hate for for it! LOL!
Oh yes! That would be awesome! I would actually add about 1-2 tbsp of orange liqueur to whipped cream, that would create a really yummy contrast with the rich chocolate. Also because the cream is so light it will really pick up the orange flavor well. Love that idea! I'm going to try it that way next time I make these! Thx for sharing! :)
I had made this yesterday and refrigerated overnight. It came out very nicely!! It wasn't too sweet but chocolaty and very creamy!! Yummy! Thank you, Beth!
Entertaining With Beth And one more thing. Thank you for using the notations such as milliliter and gram. I use the measurements so it makes me much easier and stimulates to make your recipes more!!
I've only been watching your channel videos for like the past half hour and i am totally in love with the recepies. Super super easy and cute, you handle yourself so gracefully on camera. Lovely channel!
Beth, I've made this dessert twice now and it was a hit! I'm not a huge fan of bittersweet chocolate so I substituted 1/2 milk chocolate when I made it the second time. Thanks for this amazing recipe! I'm such a huge fan.
Yes, here in the states they sell "pre-made" whipped cream in a can. It's way too sweet for me and filled with who knows what! :) So I always encourage people to buy the Heavy Cream (just reg pouring cream) add sugar and vanilla and whip it yourself. It's 10x better, and so easy to do :)
I dont think i can wait until chilling in the fridge, if it cream and chocolate it is o.k to eat it soo hot :) I really loved this video it is very easy and looks soooooo yummy, thank you so much beth.
So easy and delicious! My family is requesting this often :) Your recipes are the BEST! Thinking of doing all of your recipes one by one, Julie & Julia style:) Keep those wonderful recipes coming!
Okay, I made the non-baking Pot de Creme, another TH-camr - it was good but I tasted the eggs, so I made Beth's Pot de Creme......wow! What a difference with no egg yolk flavor and amazingly silky smooth. Now this is my go to but I'll try other soon. Thanks Beth!!
Sure. Just make sure it's at least 3 inches deep, and maybe no more than 5 x 10 wide. Otherwise if it's too big a dish the pudding will dry out too much, you want a deep vessel to dip your serving spoon into to get that luxurious texture.
Aw :) so happy you liked it! But just you wait, yesterday I shot something I can't wait for you guys to try, "Foolproof Tiramisu" it's so easy and incredible good you guys (and your friends!) will LOVE it! Stay tuned!!
hi Beth, I have make this for my family and friends....i think i have done this umpteenth times and everyone loves it. Thank you so much for the great recipe. It's really easy to make and i used valrhona chocolate.
Well I did just shoot some pumpkin pancakes that are coming up :) And I have a whole Menu on Halloween too. It's a fun one, it's in my "Fall Favorites" playlist on my HP :) As well as they "Chocolate Spook Cakes" those ae great too and they are in the same playlist. Enjoy!
Making this for my daughter's birthday party. The last time I made these, my girls kept sneaking them out of the fridge, so I'm confident that they and our guests will love it. If not, more for me!
I've tried many of your recipes, I LOVE THIS CHANNEL i said it once and i say it again its like gourmet kitchen for normal people!!!! lol its like my little secret when i want to cook something really delicious and impressive, I've noticed that you dont have any cake recipes on your channel, i want to know what is gonna be your version of lets say a chocolate cake maybe? i would be so excited to try it but whatever cake recipe suggested by you i bet its gonna be great :)
Oh yes, we need to do a hot chocolate recipe :) There's also a yummy one in my Christmas Menu I did for Kin, w/ homemade Gingerbread cream. So good! :)
Well, you could try, but they may be a bit too runny that way. If you want to lessen the cream, you could use half cream, half milk, that would work a bit better :)
Yup! I've watched that! I love it! I just have to play around with the heat because my high heat option is too hot and always burn stuff and the medium is too cool to cook anything. thanks! :)
Ha! Yes I think you can too! :) Perfect! :) Did you see your toaster oven dinner recipe? There are so many comments on that one that I haven't gone through them all yet (waiting until the contest ends next week) :)
