    What a perfect timing! I got engaged earlier this month and we're planning on having our wedding around September, 2016:) My fiance and I began wedding planning and we were thinking about what we should put in our registry.
    I'm already getting so many invites for get-togethers from my future in-laws. I think your recipes are about to become even more handy in a near future!

    Hi Beth
    I love you videos! I can actually say I have watched every single one of them!!
    Could I request that you add in the amount of time we can keep the meals/desserts?
    Eg. this well last X amount of time in the fridge if you have left overs?
    For an amateur cook, it would help relieve the worry of how long i can keep it for
    Thank you for your wonderful videos!

      Diana Pakzamir Ah great idea! I find most foods will last a good 3 days, after that they start to break down a bit. It varies from item to item for sure, but for the most part the 3 day rule is a good guideline :)

    I made this tonight (my first time making mousse). My mom loved it. It was a bit bitter for me I would have added a little more sugar. And also more cream cheese because I could BARELY taste it. But loved the texture and was very easy. :)

    Hey good evening! Do you mind describing what the chocolate wafers that you used look like? In other words, when I go into the store, and I am trailing along the aisle, what kind of shape am I looking for when I touch the items through the bag?I’m sorry I have so many questions, it’s just as a blind person, I go based on shapes, or what kind of texture. If that makes sense. God bless you!

    I made this an I topped it with raspberries and it tastes really good! Also, I hope I don't spoil this for anyone, but the next recipe looks like some sort of moist pound cake or something and it looks like there are poppy seeds hidden within. Hopefully I'm not too right (or right at all) so I don't ruin it for others!

    Oh Beth, I just made these into a Mocha Cheesecake Mousse! I added about half a teaspoon of instant coffee and then topped each glass with chocolate espresso beans! I have a request, can you make more dinner ideas that would be great for hosting college aged students? I'll be a senior this fall and really want to start investing more in my friends before we graduate and start careers and families. So something affordable, yummy and budget friendly would be great! Also maybe non-alcoholic drinks! I don't drink but fun options would be awesome! Sorry for all the requests but I love your channel!

    Hi Beth!!!! It's a great dessert :)
    I would like to use honey instead of powdered sugar. Do you have any suggestions for it?

    • @EntertainingWithBeth
      @EntertainingWithBeth  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      OK here's what I would do. Warm the heavy cream just long enough to dissolve the honey. You'll need quite a bit of it to sweeten since the unsweetened cocoa powder is really bitter. I would do at least 2/3 cup (160ml) of honey, once dissolved chill the cream overnight. It needs to be really cold in order to whip. Then proceed with the recipe as directed. Let me know how it turns out! I hope you enjoy!

    • @EntertainingWithBeth
      @EntertainingWithBeth  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, you really need the cream cheese to provide the texture, otherwise it would just be chocolate whipped cream. Which hey, could be great too! :) Or you could make a traditional mousse with eggs, like this one. Another tasty option! th-cam.com/video/kOpjXctuf5o/w-d-xo.html

    • @EntertainingWithBeth
      @EntertainingWithBeth  9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Sutter Breaux Yes a lot of my recipes are family recipes I've been making for years, or new ones I dream up. I spend a lot of time recipe developing. So testing, and retesting adding a little more of this or that to make sure they really will work for everybody in the simplest, easiest way. And I must say not all recipes make it to the channel! Ha! Some just don't turn out, or I think they aren't worthy of a video and the time it takes to produce one. Only the ones I think are really great arrive here :)

      Allia Rosli Yes! And that's great too! And you top with graham cracker crumbs and fresh strawberries :) I've done that too and it's great. Just reduce the sugar to 2 tbsp in the cream stage since without the coco powder you won't need all that :) Enjoy!
