I own a LLC with 2 DBAs under that that I market junk removal and exterior cleaning separately. Figured it would be better for now to not be 2 different businesses.
@@russellweaver3965 I don't plan on selling. I plan on building something that my kid can inherit. If both DBAs are doing good and holding their own then I'll convert them to LLCs
I understand setting up the family for success. But in a few years you may notice that one of the businesses starts losing quarterly. Or if you get into robbing Peter to pay Paul, Peter may suffer and not grow to its potential. But yeah just had our 10th grandchild Thursday. I've got one business started but plan on starting at least 4 more maybe 5. But the business I have now I can add 2 divisions to it and have the same rigs pretty much going 24 hours a day. But before I add those 2 divisions I'll add the secondary business. Hindsight I started the wrong business first but can't allow that to bring things to a halt.

So what is your main LLC?
@@JohnLange Campbell Services Group, LLC. However the only people that see that is the bank or irs or lawyer or whatever.
I would keep the 2 businesses separate or maybe have divisions so that if you want to you can sell off one of the businesses in the future.
