@@user-mh5qg5jb7dany truck with a baby weak engine like that is asking for problems and a truck with no power on demand. you cant compare it to a 5.0coyote f150 u just cant.
depending on conditions, a diesel will also make sense in a half-ton truck. If manufacturers are too weak to develop diesels for half-tons, they should simply by the BMW 30d R6 diesel, or the Toyota 3L R4,.
The 3.5l ecoboost will out tow the 3.0l diesel, that’s why they dropped that engine. I have had several F-150’s with the 3.5l ecoboost. Zero issues, proper maintenance is key. 5,000 mile oil changes with mobil 1 full synthetic! Again, zero issues.
The worst trucks out tbh. The ride quality is among the worst. The tech is five years behind Ram. The fleet trucks are absolute garbage and all models are unreliable. Now you know, and knowing is half the battle 😃 GI JOOOOOE
Pretty sure they had Land Rover build the engines? And I’m also pretty sure timing chains are on both the front, and rear, of the engine. Belt driven oil pump? Garbage tier motor.
The 2024 F150 is just being released, so it cannot have 9 months of recalls. Dodge, GMC, and Chevrolet are higher priced and have had more recalls last year.
He's right. I just rented one it was a POS. The panels were moving when I pushed on them. Ford makes good engines and comfortable cars but their quality is pretty bad.
Kept watching this thinking there has to be a valid point coming and that's on me. 8 minutes I'm never getting back. Maybe i gotta start going to the comments first to see if it's worthwile. Not the worst video ever but kudos for giving it a shot.
Come on. First you complain about less options, then about the customizable bumper "luring customers into buying more options". The Fox shock update is only for offroad models, where it is actually a selling point. The only real critique is the missing diesel option.
I just want to know who is buying them... It has to be the government replacing the entire CIA/FBI fleet along with all government vehicles UAW support Democrats so it makes sense I guess, right now they are working us 7 days a week overtime making f-150 parts. Explain who can afford this truck I can't and I make parts for the things.
Seems like you hit the nail on the head with this review. Ford has put too much high tech into their trucks. As far as the diesel engines you can just step up to the super duty.
I made the mistake of buying a 2023 Lariat 4x4 sport last month. I absolutely hate this truck! It’s a POS! Most uncomfortable lousy riding truck! Apparently, you have to spend $95K on a platinum plus in order to get comfortable seats. A $72K Lariat won’t get it done.
These trucks are slow launching off the line which kills quarter mile time . I outran one in a Subaru Outback. I was doing 30 before he took off, and passed me raging. Drag racing is about getting off the line not top speed. My Ridgeline outruns Raptora in Colorado in snow, rain, and Ice, because a rear wheel drive can't launch wide open throttle off the line in snow like all wheel drive can.
Why are we talking about diesel engines? They have not been available since 2022.
Only in dodge
2023 had that option
And if you need a diesel then you don't need an F-150.
Is someone just hating on the f150
😂
because this video is AI generated. its pulling criticism from multiple years of data
This is the most ill informed automotive video I've ever watched. I begrudge the view I gave this guy
Who would buy a diesel on an F150? If you want a diesel on a truck, you want to get at least a 250 otherwise you’ll pull the hell out of the frame
Why would you "pull the hell out of the frame" with a baby diesel when the 3.5 and 3.5 hybrid produce more hp and more torque?
@@user-mh5qg5jb7dany truck with a baby weak engine like that is asking for problems and a truck with no power on demand. you cant compare it to a 5.0coyote f150 u just cant.

Why not just say hey I’m a Ford hater?
Hes a ford hater and also nissan rogue. This channel is so dumb.
This dude would definitely buy a Honda Ridgeline😂😂
The reason they got rid of the diesel option is because the 3.5 ecoboost is a better engine with more horsepower and torque than the 3.0 power stroke.
And no one was buying the diesel for that reason...
Haters are going to hate.
Better engine for what? For replacing timing???
What about the powerboost? Better than the ecoboost?

The diesel engine in the f150 sucked. It was a maintenance nightmare and had less power and torque then the ecoboost with only about a 2 mpg.
Pretty sure they had Land Rover build the engines? And I’m also pretty sure timing chains are on both the front, and rear, of the engine. Belt driven oil pump? Garbage tier motor.
MY2024 is now just being released for sale to the public. How does it rack up 40 recalls...?
He is talking out of his ass...that's why.
It’s ai video. All bs.

who needs torque from diesel when you can get it from the Powerboost hybrid F150?
this guy is just a ford hater
Other trucks are 10 years behind ford
So a new Dodge TRX is ten years behind these garbage Fords? LOL
This is terrible…not a single one of these is actually that relevant. Pure clickbait.
Funny, these are all the reasons why I SHOULD buy the F-150!

I'm interested in the new 2024 F150 Lariat with BAP, too bad you didn't have the right information. Next

Clickbait, I can't see myself in any other 1/2 ton...
As someone who drives in the USA, seeing interiors with the steering column on the right side of the vehicle is truly weird to me.
This video was ridiculous. Not at all good reasons to avoid the 2024 f150. big thumbs down.
A diet, low carb, nothing burger.

As far as tge suspension system, if you have roads like most states have with massive potholes, the suspension system will be good to have.
i am 2022 owner powerboost, only two recall not 60 recall not at all!!!!!
Ok the recalls is scary but how it compares to gmc or chevy trucks?
I’m General Motors, and I approve this message. 😂
one of these videos releases for every model year for every car ever made
Don’t worry about avoiding the 2024. There doing a good enough job avoiding the consumers. Beings that there isn’t any.
I will not buy a Diesel engine Truck because of the smell diesel engine makes me sick!!😂
They have to keep up with the tech. It's competition. How is that a ding on the f-150?

Ford cleans up on fleet orders from every municipality and trade, otherwise they would definitely be broke.
Really?.what a waste listening to your crap!
The last one i had was a 2012 f150 had 520000 same drivetran and no rust id still drive it but hit a deer
5.0?
5.0
Did you just say that gasoline engines are more environmentally friendly than diesel???
Uhm........do you have your grade 3 education?
lame
Lots of bs add-ons that don't add much except break down points. Hype .
So in other words dont buy Ford
Thats the truck im buying nice color to beautiful truck the tremor is good to
Nah the reason was 2.7 diesel engine sucks.
Hyper critical.
This was the most dumest video. All mis information.
This is bs ai video. The diesel was the lowest selling model …..
Just another reason to restore a 80-90s Ford truck for 1/3 the price of a new one. Thanks Ford for making this decision easy for me.
Thanks Computer generated voice over...I guess I will buy an Obama/Government Motors Ram or Chevy
😂
What in the bias opinion did I just watch?
What a terrible video
Exactly I actually own one and it’s amazing the speed ahh everything on it it’s just so great.

Ford trucks suck! I test drove one and it was the most boring POS I’ve ever wasted 15 minutes on! I’d rather get a Nissan at least those look good!
