My Motorcycle Saved me after my son died - Tribute to Nick Miner

- On October 23, 2022 my son died in a traffic crash. Once I started riding again my motorcycle saved me. It was therapeutic. It allows me to process my sons death. Allowing me an outlet to express my feelings. This is my Christmas gift to my son Nick. Riding is literally saving me!
This is gonna make me cry. I can already tell.
Wow, my friend I’m in a similar situation, my soon turning 17 years old son died in May 2022. My way to grieve is to ride my bike as we were supposed to do on the following summer 2023, but it will never happen with him. I share your pain my friend. Phil.
Phil I’m so sorry for your loss. I truly know the pain you live with everyday. Me and my son did everything together. My son was gonna graduate this year and we were gonna do our trip. You should take that trip because he will be with you. They now see the world through our eyes and they only way he can go is if you go. If you decide to go let me know where you end up, you never know we might cross paths. Enjoy the ride and find some peace my friend!

10 years ago our son Kevin Marc Bannon passed away at 21. He had a very giving heart but he got caught up in the opioid crisis and passed away. I also ride for therapy. The pain seems endless sometimes. Keep the wheels spinning.

But at the same time, the fact that your son passed away while attempting to help his fellow man says a ton about the way he was raised. Nothing but respect for you my man. I’m a 60 year old biker who has 3 daughters, the thought of losing any of them is unbearable to think. I’m not ashamed to admit that I cried when I watched this video. 💕💕

This hits hard man. I wish i had a closer connection with my brother. The issue is everyone is so stubborn while i sit on the sideline always playing the good guy trying not to fall into all the chaos. Everyone is always just worried about money and more money and what is better than what. The competition tears people apart and from reality.

Ive been watching your videos for awhile. I could not bring myself to watch this, I finally did. Thank you for sharing your pain, hurt and giving your son the opportunity to live on. I lost my brother unexpectedly in 2021, its no where close to loosing a child (I'm also a father of two) however, THIS....I needed to see this and inspire me. My brother and I were riding buddies when we could. He lived in Ohio, me in Georgia (retiring this year from the Military). We had big riding plans for the future. I have been stressed to ride, afraid almost to miss him. You said it, "it hurts".....but it's what we do to live and honor those we loved, those we lost too soon. Thank you... and may Nick forever be remembered as the amazing person you raised him to be.
I would say you continue the adventure and go on those big rides you and him planned to honor him. My son called me everyday on my last trip and after he pasted he sent me a sign to let the adventure continue. We take them with us and it’s the only way they will be on that trip! They see through our eyes now. Ride on and enjoy it cause we only live it once! Thank for the kind words.
