The six Ampere diode functions like a switch not like a fuse.it prevents DC volt from coming back to solar panel when the out put voltage falls below the charging voltage of battery.this happens under rainy and during night hours when there is no sun light

Thanks for the video. It is very informative. In your presentation you have taken the life of solar panel as 20 years. However You have not taken the life of battery, which is a maximum of 3 years.
Nowadays c10 batteries come with minimum 5 years warranty

Cost of 150 AH battery - 11,500 to 15,000 depending on brand and efficiency
cost of 800 mah inverter - 4000 to 6000 approx.
cost of installation. - 800 to 1000 approx
1 battery of 150 AH is enough to run 5 tubelights and 4 fans for 4 to 5 hours approx.
but not refrigerator or AC.
cost of installing solar panel power system for 2 bhk house is more than 2.5 lakhs. total.
this fellow is undermining solar cost. pls check solar companies website and check for yourself. solar panel companies are selling with inflated prices just because govt is giving subsidy. like hospitals giving inflated bills if you have insurance cover.

Sir very good vedio but I have a query, you have installed solar panel inverter. It will work if main current not available does it will give direct current to fan or light . Then how it will save ur electricity if it gives direct power to ur fan or light the only u can save . If I am wrong sorry

My understanding is His initial plan was install normal inverter and Battery only, But his friend recommended spend extra 30K for Solar panel so from that can save 180 units every 2 months from electric bill, His every 2 months Electric usage is around 630 units, After 500 units TNEB will charge higher, So use this 600 Watts Solar panel for reduce his Electric usage unit to below 500 units consuming from TNEB, His two 150AH Sukam battery is 2×11200=22400, sukam brainy eco 1600va/24v solar inverter price is 8400, So Total is 30000+22400+8400 = 60800+ 1000 labour charges+ Wire depends on locations Around 63000 , He saving every 2 month EB bill around 1000 One year around 6000 savings from EB bill, He spent extra 30 K for Solar panel So he get that money in 5 years is good idea if the Solar panel long lost more than 10 years
bro, diode is used for rectification. this used to change ac to dc. this is not a fuse. this 2 diodes separate the +volt & -volt. 2 diodes half wave rectifier. if we used 4 diodes that's called full wave rectifier that gives double energy with pure dc.then add capacitor like 2200mfd/25v or 4400mfd/25v that will increase the volt also.
I am residing in individual house(Owned) + one side portion(tenant). Overall built up area is 1700 Sq.Ft. Planning to construct 1st floor the same Sq. Ft. Now I need solar power for the whole house(Including ground floor and 1st floor). How much KW is required, how much sq. ft. area is required in terrace, any subsidy from govt, power storage is battery or off grid and what is cost of implementation. Is there any maintenance cost after implementation. Please respond to my queries.
