Dang i just bought a pdp second hand only to find out its a v1 kinda disappointed

Brother, unless you are using the gun as a hammer, you have nothing to worry about.
If you are concerned about the flat top at all, that is why I make the V1 plates.
I own a couple V1 PDPs and a couple V2 PDPs.... I dont know the difference if I don't look.
And, the PDP is a fantastic gun... you will love it no matter the version.

I agree, but I do appreciate a plate that doesn't wiggle too. So when confronted with the option, I guess I buy the plate that fits snugly.
As far as the screws getting broken though... I suspect the sight would have to be smashed mighty hard to make that happen, and I wont be expecting to use the sight again in that case anyway.

@AHandleOnThings i hear ya the thing is this is comming out pretty late ans most of us are still rocking the free plates we got from walther out of the few pdps i have only one isnt still using thst plate and thats becuase its a 509 t i guess if there ever brake but it dosent look like that happening any time soon
