Powerwolf makes the best covers, hands down.

I've listened to "With Oden on our side" many times. There were some songs I liked and now I still listen to some of them (Cry of the black bird, Valhall awaits me, Runes to my memory, Under the northern star) but I totally forgot about this one ! So thank you Powerwolf for this great cover !

considering the context of powerwolf being crusading werewolves, I think their music is indeed, fitting of the theme of the song.

Instant regerts. Amon Amarth shouldn’t be covered because there is no way to do their songs better. If I wanted clean lyrics I’d listen to sabaton and actually hear a guy with a good voice.
Ronnie Bach Attila is literally a trained opera singer, how is it even possible for him to have bad vocals?
especially considering Joakim is not that good of a singer. Hell, even in studio he misses some notes pretty badly. He's an incredible performer on stage though. Problem is...Attila is too, meanwhile being a better singer.
At best we can say that Joakim's tone is more fitting for an AA cover.
