Different music is meant for for different people by nature we have seen , why do we want to see it in a dangerous way, it is going good with all community people and accepted by all with grace only.. it is unnecessary to bring the difference in peopke's mind. Already we are facing such unwanted difference between people and their jaathi by political parties.. The higherarky is there in the nature too .. Even in your concert don't you lead main role? The great hope in life is to achieve higher than what we now in every respect. If that motivation is not there, our life will be like a dessert...

Because there is an economic around it. Those people know only that skill. They have to do that job to support their families. Just imagine sir, if you have a kid and you only knew that job what will you do?

Has sabestian or any one who into mrindangam making ever recorded their harassment based on their caste by other? If not why this hype? If so, any of the users of mrindangam subjected the dalit so badly than others, which is seen now a days very casually. Ananth S , he is going through some phase internally, kind of mid-life crisis I guess. With all hype about magsasay award and other credentials, he has nothing to lose and want to standout from the crowd. Country politics is favorable for him too. Basically what he says is, if you love mridangam, don’t complain about eating beef or killing cow. According to his logic, since manure is the ingredient for getting nice tomatoes, you should eat manure also.

By the same logic, many products are made out of animal skin. As long as the makers (manual) of these products are not ill treated and paid their dues, i don't think there is any issue. There is nothing linked to vegetarianism here.

We should get rid of mridangams that are made by cruelly killed cows, and for boycotting hypocrites such as TM Krishna, especially by Mylaporeans (because he proudly claims that Mylaporeans will listen to his music regardless of what he says).

Animals are not killed for making musical instruments. Even leather goods are not made by killing animals. He is giving wrong information. Killing Cow is a criminal offence in India.
