This is a question I hear new riders ask all the time. It’s obvious you buy the motorcycle and then you get the gear. What gear you get can depend on what type of bike you have .Buying the gear before you buy the motorcycle makes about as much sense as buying wheels and tires for a car that you dream about!

Motorcycle first, if no pain no gain until you crash at 100 mph because you've only been going straight for 2 months refusing to lean beyond 10 degrees because all the instagrammers with MT07's and R7's with clapped out Special-Clap Project exhausts refuse to lean beyond 10 degrees whilst reverting to monkey on the highways trying to establish how special they are to the general population. Helmet first though, can't believe that's not a legislation in America. Bit of road rash will teach you how to turn and use those tyres like they're designed for, otherwise just put car tyres on your bike because your mileage will probably triple at the minimum.
