26.10.2024 2:08 CET Mr. Jonathan Wells, you are awarded a gold medal for the most eloquent, sincere, tasteful and gracious presentation of anything automotive ever. When I was 18 my dad took me to Stuttgart to Auto Pabst and I had the opportunity to drive a Plus 8. It was my dad's dream to see me drive it. I was too young, about to attend University and knew that I could neither finance anything alike nor have it parked on the curb. Yet it was a memorable experience. The honesty and truth to the original concept makes Morgan more important these days when such values have all but disappeared than ever. Well done! Dr. Joerg Strate
Loved owning a plus 6 but did miss the manual gearbox which I personally feel allows you to better control the high level of power from the b58 engine - which is a work of art! - Did end up selling it after 8 months of ownership. I was hoping this new model would offer a manual but sadly not… I still love Morgan and own a 4/4 sport which isnt anywhere near the power but i felt was a better driving experience with a louder exhaust, manual gearbox and much lighter offering you that 'go kart' feel
Love the new look. I grew up on Morgans and my father has owned five over the years he currently still owns two .now. Miserable bugger has never let me drive any of them. Hope one day I can afford to enjoy one myself . 😂
Beautiful. But opens the question . . . what next. Really like the specification. The wheels is nicer than the current offering but still not very Morgan - a wood option at least would have been nice when they have taking this much trouble to make a special. . . . along with a better shifter! Finally what a great presentation, Jonathan does such a great job in design and presenting these, articulate and well delivered. Now I want to go for a drive.
Whenever I see Morgan - i starts downloading video footage and keep it inside my collection of Morgan videos . Damn ! sooo love those cars !!! Keep up the good work English cars makers 🍹
im truly blown away as i did not believe ever to see a classic forme in a new car ever again it is marvelous and you have my deepest respect for it this is were we shouldbe heading with Automobile Design combining the shaped beauty and form aswell as the craftmanship of the past with the technical advantages of the present
Morgan has been in the right direction since going with the modern suspension and the bonded aluminum tub structure. But dropping the Plus 8 and now the Plus Six I hope they don't go all EV. That will kill the brand.
There will be a new flagship model in 2025 with the same engine byt different design, inspired by the jet era. Plus 4 will stay as a traditional Morgan though with.
Amazing piece of art, and a wonderful passionate delivery by the host… The only element that puts me off is that plastic BMW gear lever… It feels like a foreign organ planted in a body that is trying to reject it…
I don’t get why you keep going with that modern automatic gearshift design. You build beautiful cars, but then ruin it by choosing the worst possible automatic gearshift design.
I bought a Super 3, a year or so ago. It had numerous faults. Morgan’s customer service was appalling…. Continually asking me to drive it a 120 miles to my nearest dealer,… who couldn’t fix it. Eventually asked me to drive it to the factory…. And they wouldn’t even pay my petrol cost. They sorted it and then after 300 miles the fault occurred again. They wouldn’t come and collect it. Asked me again to drive it to the factory….. My advice? Don’t even think of buying a Morgan. Their customer service is worthless as is any warranty. Sold it at a £30k loss. Buy something else that at least has a decent warranty and customer service .
Seems a nice car but at 6.34 we are told this car offers the most exciting driving experience you can have in a Morgan ? Hmmm ? Two word " Automatic Transmission" I owned an original plus 8 about 30 years ago . Yes I agree not as fast as this new car and around and race track would be left behind buy the modern offerings from Morgan . But as far as having fun and excitement you need to look back about 20 years sadly.
Ez lehet! De nekem van egy Morgan Plus 4. 2017. A kivitelezés szörnyű.Nagyon szeretem de ennyi pénzért ilyen rossz minőséget gyártani.Beázik ,minden zörög ,csattog, nyikorog, csak jó időben lehet használni!!
From the web site: Power: 335 bhp Dry Weight: 1,114kg Acceleration 0 -62mph (0 - 100kph): 4.2 Seconds Top Speed: 166mph (267kph) CO2 Emissions: 180g/km Fuel Economy (Combined): 38mpg (8.2 l/ 100km) But that's not what this car is about.
Some small criticism that I have with all the good intentions: -Still needs a solid roof. -Still needs a more solid construction (More metal and no wood) -I hope an electric model will come one day The car looks fantastic, but if it's less safe than the rest, the amount of money that it costs becomes instantly not worth at all. I hope my criticism doesn't offend anyone. Best wishes.

“When you arrive after a long effortlessly journey” now that made me smile
Great Video 😀 beautiful combination of Engineering, Creativity and Art .

Who's Chris?
Ford Coyote V8?
Still want a Plus 8

Just beautiful. Artists of your craft. Congratulations on another stunning masterpiece.
Totally in love with that work of art !

What will replace the 6 as flagship
An EV SUV
First EV with a wood frame
@@justindake No, they're going eco, so it'll be engineered bamboo.

On one hand I like the interior and on the other hand I would want something which can take some rain.
I'd love it even more with a Midsummer's tail (tale?) but i get how this could be a polarising view.
Given how Z4 and Supra both have a manual with the B58, maybe a new Plus 6 will have a manual
Don’t build enough to ever warrant the cost
Really cool machine
Best of class
It sounds like future Morgan’s will be hybrid- the end of an era.
To my mind, the ultimate pair of cars in an ultra-exotic collection would be the Morgan Plus Six Pinnacle and the Gordon Murray T-50.
The last Plus 6? Sounds ominous. Whay will replace it? Please, not an EV.
MorganMotors teach me that I should build my own speedster, like in the good old times.
Beautiful car. 😍
Any opportunity to provide an order of one of these to Vancouver Canada?
Would love to see one with a Ford Coyote V8....
Does this mean no more 6-cylinder Morgans.
Is the future only 4 and 3-cylinder Morgans?
Hope it will not be electric ! I'll be keeping my beloved old +8

💙💙💙💙💙💙 LOVE IT, WOW., HOPE I CAN GET ONE IN 2025.
It still lacks two cylinders…
It needs a Ford Coyote V8......
Will I get a factory tour upon offering one?
“It’s camel tan - but we’ve decided to call it fawn” 🤷♂️🤣 (Why does he look so startled? 😂)
May I buy this in the USA?

And this, surly, was the time to offer something unique on this final run?
I don't understand the digital displays either. Maybe people actually want it in these cars? I doubt it. I would want the option of hiding it.
I think its because they have a deal with BMW and that shifter comes as is and they cant do anything about it
They make it in manual, you choose the transmission.
@@CRC118 The only option is Auto in the Plus Six.
Whats next in line for Morgan?

Now all Morgan need to do is offer an electric powertrain.

Morgan é o único carro em série feito a Mão, nem Ferrari, nem Rolls Royce, digno da Família Real também...

The kind of sports car where the driver must wear a proper dress watch. Like a Calatrava.
it's a beautiful car but the bmw gear box stick is out of context there
Nice show but, what about the go? A few numbers wouldn’t go amiss . . .

@@desmo750f1 True. It’s rolling art; certainly agree about the art, but the rolling part matters too.
I love the car and the concept, but that roof... na. That's a deal breaker for me.
Bring back the V8
Will it ship to Australia?
You should talk to Lucid about using their EV power train. Aston Martin will be using the Lucid Sapphire power train.
Who is this guy talking to? Why not face the camera?

I think you need a Toyota Supra
Metal, electric, roof, good heavens man . Go buy a Tesla
@@DPK12 Do teslas look like this? No? Then why telling me something that has nothing to do with what i commented?
Automatic is better than manual
Maybe automatic is better for taxi drivers but not proper driver or cars.
Trust me. It all depends the area you live.
Country? Open road? Manual.
OMG, I want this car… 🥹
Jude Law’s brother?😉
A six-speed gearbox with a chrome grille would be much more appropriate than this pseudo-futuristic "thing"!
